Bad. Unless you use it in search where you won't need a lot of ammo. If you empty both guns you don't have enough additional ammo to refill both a second time.

Got a couple multi-kills with it on Skidrow, they can be pretty fun. Nothing super practical though.

What Aeowin said, but not so much the bad part. I love using 'em. They're fun. I myself don't rely on my secondary too much, so it's no biggie, but I use spas, not G18, and rarely do I use bling on any class except maybe LMG. I've seen you use G18 akimbo so you'd be able to crank a few kills out, I was able to pull 5 or 6 on average before I was completely out of ammo. I think that's fine considering it's just a secondary, most of your handi work will be done with your primary.

I've been using secondaries as my main weapons this prestige just for something new since once I get one man army, I usually put it on most if not all of my classes (the exception being my stinger class). Feels like a whole new game, it's done a lot for me to get back to enjoying it like it's a new experience, but goddamn if it's not frustrating at the same time. Akimbo USP is such a beast, but I just unlocked the M9s so I'm gonna work on those next. Still haven't touched the shotguns too much yet, I find it really hard to get used to their range and often times overestimate it and end up getting killed, then get pissed and stop using them. It's a very vicious cycle because I'll never learn how to use them well.

Bling M16 silencer/holographic, Akimbo/silenced G18s, SPP/NP or SAP.

Good for long range maps (wasteland), if you only partially hit your first burst, you won't be noticed and can easily get off a second burst.

The TMP is an awesome sidearm too if you can muscle your way to extended mags, thing has the recoil of the ACR and something like 900 rpm.

Yeah, I'm anxiously awaiting the TMP. I used it just for a few matches before I prestiged (did with most secondaries just to see what I was getting myself into after I prestiged) and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

You are in a small minority not because M16s iron sights are bad or hard to get used to, but because holographic sight is the best attachment for the gun.
