For those of you who want to play MW2 on PC with dedicated servers, custom games modes and server tweaks check out alterIW.net I just grabbed it since I sold the xbrick, plenty of servers, matchmaking and to top it off, faster hack bans than you could imagine for the game.

How's blackops multiplater shaping up? dont really want to crawl through hoards of BO pages... kinda hoping it's like WaW and mw2 remains popular like mw1 seemed to. the lack of dedicated servers is really sucking for mw2 PC version

only tdm, and prime time domination gets decent pings for me now :/

I like BO's multiplayer. Stupid host migration still for console players, and a few bugs. But it's still fun imo.

oh, nice... hosting system really sucks considering the different spec PCs people have (whereas lolbox/ps3s are all the same)

Dont suppose you know if battlefield bad company2 has servers for PC also? kinda torn between BC2 and BO as the next fps I play online with...

Alright, what happened to the MW2 PS3 servers? Every other game I've joined has been a hacked lobby. A friend even lost all of his gun attachments/emblems after he joined a lobby and then quit. This is getting ridiculous.

Yes, I have been following that thread. There were PS3 lobby hacks before that hack came out, but it's gotten a lot worse lately. Have people already figured out how to utilize this new hack to screw with PS3 lobbies?

I liked mw2. If they atleast tried to fix their shit like Trey is, it wouldn't be as terrible and i'd probably still play it.

One thing i liked about mw2 is the fact that you can abuse shit w/ scavenger and whatnot. Picking claymores from corpse bookbags just made it too sweet.

Glad to see they're at least trying to do something, but IW's track record doesn't exactly inspire confidence. While Black Ops is more balanced, I just haven't found it all that entertaining so hopefully they can stabilize MW2.
