Try to avoid that clusterfuck at the Lloyd altogether, god it sucks. And yay speed traps.

My wife pretty much works at 1st and Lloyd. A few blocks from Willard Library. St. Vincent's. I know the area well. She comes home bitching about the construction almost daily. It's ridiculous, but it's needed. The Fulton/Lloyd crossing has always been a disaster. I do have to get on the Lloyd today, full mirror and all, but I'm heading East from 41 toward Robert's Stadium.
My suggestion is to call the Vanderburgh co Court House and just inquire about the ticket itself and see if you can remove the tint and if they'll rescind the fine.
I'm guessing you had a cop that got notified of his paycut that morning or something, I have 5% tint on my Maxima which actually is limo and I've been pulled over several times but they always tell me that I should look into getting it changed, searched my car once, never been written a ticket for it. my friend drew has full mirror and had an accident (TL;dr he was at fault), the officer mentioned it but didn't add it on his failure to yield citation. I'm guessing it just depends where you live but I was under the impression that dealership cars weren't sold with any tint unless they were used(drew's camaro had 10% tint when he first bought it)
Um okay why is it illegal for the windows to be tinted? I've never ever heard any weird rule like that out here... my windows are tinted (factory Mazda tints) but when I was reading some forums people with the same car as mine were talking about how they couldn't have their driver window tinted (which looks super lame to me) even with the factory tints. What's up with that?
OK I just looked up our local laws and this is all they have to say about window tinting:
"Reflective or mirror like tinted film is not acceptable as it may dazzle other drivers by reflecting sunlight or headlight beams.
Spray on type window tinting or finishes are also not acceptable. "
So what happens in the US that doesn't happen here because of window tinting? (or vice versa)
Hoosier cops are typically pretty lenient... I've been pulled over several times in the last couple years, and I've only got one ticket ever... I got pulled over in a SCHOOL ZONE speed trap (40 in a 25), and the cop wrote it as less than whatever the law is over, and not in a school zone so I could still qualify for Safe Driver...
For the sake of arguement, what if he got pulled over for the window tint, and wasn't speeding? People have DEFINITELY been pulled over for window tint being too dark. In this case, would he have a reason to complain because he bought the car at a used car lot or dealership, and the vehicle was illegally tinted? I think so. Forget the fucking fact he was pulled over for speeding. He's pissed that the dealership was able to sell him an illegally tinted car. I'd be pissed too.
Since apparently what I've said either isn't coming across correctly, or I'm being trolled, Reality hit he nail on the head as to why I made this post in first place.
ITT: "I was ignorant, I broke multiple laws, one I knew about, one I didn't, it wasn't my fault, I swear, how do I get out of fine smaller than what I should have gotten?"
