TWIST: The chef at the citadel has a purpose.
Isn't she supposed to be a thief, part of the next DLC we're getting? If so, I can't wait!
Also found this linked to that video and surprised me... had no idea you could play poker with Tali!
Thank god for youtube.
EDIT: Hahaha these are great
So anyway speaking of special dialogue, I know certain characters will interact with each other at the right places("Talk to x"). For example Garrus will talk to Thane at the entrance of C-Sec. Grunt in Tukunca(w/e) to a few people Jacob, Tali, Mordin, Jack come to mind (disses Tali pretty bad, lol).
EDIT: FUCK! This has to be the best team interaction in the whole damn game:
Did you catch the video that lets you have Tali and Legion before you get Dossier access on PC? Was really cool seeing Tali and Legion on the Archangel mission, and they had new lines of dialogue.
Also I don't know why it won't let me pick the paragon option for Miranda and Jack. My paragon is pretty damn high(like an inch into the final tier). My renege is close to completing the first tier though. I didn't have this problem on my first playthrough... the hell?
They do not intend to harm the creators. At this time.

I sort of have an explanation for this, as it happened on my third playthrough and I ended up researching the phenomenon quite a bit. (had to regain Miranda's loyalty by getting 100% paragon.)
As far as I can gather, the game has a Morality to Progress to Character Level ratio. Depending on what your level is as well as how far in the game you are, you will need different levels of paragon or renegade to initiate certain chats. That's why you hear about people that wait til the end of the game to do the Miranda and Jack argument need nearly 90% Paragon or Renegade to diffuse the fight; while people that initiate that fight earlier have a smaller ratio, and only need about 50~60%. You could only need 40% for a paragon choice in a chat, go out and level twice on assignments without raising paragon, and the choice won't be there anymore.
It really bites that you're penalized by doing side missions and raising your level outside of normal missions, while others that just breeze through the storyline to get to the end always have the correct Level/Paragon/Renegade ratio.
Daniel has 40% paragon, he only needs 45% for a paragon choice with Garrus. Daniel goes out and levels on a chain of assignments. Now he needs 48% for that paragon choice because his level is higher. Daniel is fucked and doesn't gain loyalty because he felt like exploring instead of story line grinding.
Edit note: Take this with a grain of salt, I think it's pretty accurate, but don't quote me.
dammit daniel
yes, Daniel is quite the tool.
skimmin Bioware forums I got the impression that the two loyalty stand offs vary in how much paragon/renegade they require based on when you do them. I.e. doing miranda/jack first means you only need an exact # around 40-50%. However the second one will end up being 100% because of how the game functions. The rest of the stuff makes sense to me at least.
i am like 20 pages behind in this thread so this is probably olde

i admire the amount of time they put into that but I gotta say I was getting tremendous douchechills listening to it
should've gotten the game on that track since hes a fan of ME
Finally got to sit down and have a marathon session with ME2. Got all but 1 loyalty quest done, and about to get it on with Tali. Jacob's loyalty quest left.
Anything I need to know about quest timing and possibly losing any active quests before I move on to the IFF quest?
I'd do the IFF quest when you've finished everything else personally, that way it's just Legion's loyalty and then through the Omega 4 relay.
