Yeah... be careful with that. I ended up going out and buying ME1 because at the time I couldn't find a cracked version that wouldn't lock up reliably at certain points (e.g. trying to view the galaxy map... inconvenient).

On an unrelated note...

Am I nuts for thinking there's no reasonable way to get enough credits to buy all upgrades offered in stores?

I completely explored every star system, did every side/loyalty/etc. quest, imported a maxed-out ME1 Shep, and still wound up short on credits needed to buy some of the upgrades.

Did I miss something heinously easy for accumulating money, or are you just kinda hosed? If I could sell minerals for cash, that would be glorious. Sitting on large enough stockpiles of everything to completely trash the interstellar economy.

Hopefully with the new DLC's we get, we will have an opportunity to get more cash.

Hell yeah soldier <3. Hardened adrenaline rush, warp ammo, and the machine gun from the Collector ship turns the game into serious easy mode.

I think there were ~4 on Illium at the end that I hadn't ponied up for (or might've been 3 on Illium and 1 on Omega). A skin weave, a SMG damage upgrade, a tech damage upgrade (which I *really* wish I'd bought, Heavy Incinerate is hoss on Veteran), and one other that I don't remember.

I had enough creds to buy one more, since I went straight from Legion's loyalty mission to Omega 4 without stopping to burn the credits I had (wanted to save Chakwas to get my drink on with her again in ME3!), but I still would've been 3 short.

That right there is why, no matter how much I love ME2, I hate it.

I, far too late, realized I was spending a ton of time prospecting that I didn't need to spend, because I'd never use the minerals I gathered.

I think, once I'd purchased every upgrade the little terminal would let me, I was sitting on ~110k eezo, and between 500-600k of everything else. It would've been at least 25% more but there were probably 4 or so clusters I didn't bother prospecting. It took a very, very long time to stop prospecting, because there was a little voice in the back of my head that told me to keep hammering away (that's what she said!).

I even bought the (totally pointless for paragon) medbay upgrade just to have it off my ship upgrade list.

It's still driving me nuts that I did every single fucking thing there was to do in the game, and there sit a few upgrades mocking me for my inability to purchase them.

During the Archangel mission: Grunt has a special interaction with Blood Pack, Zaeed with Blue Suns, so I believe Kasumi might have special dialogue with Eclipse but you'll probably need to do some hacking to see it. Unless Mordin already does something like that... haven't tried.
