The Kasumi DLC is out today for anyone interested. I know when I get home I'll be picking it up. It's like... $7. For another character and 90ish minutes worth of additional content, it's a sure buy for me. I hope you can interact with her though, unlike Zaeed. I'm not counting on anything though.
Zaeed was free, maybe there was some more effort cuz Kasumi costs dollars
Zaeed is only free if you buy the game new because it gets you the Cerberus network. For people who buy it used, they need to pay $15 for the Network. IMO it's worth it for a character, a bunch of side missions, and weapons and armor. Honestly, I'm very happy with Bioware for giving all the free content that they have. Most other devs would have charged for those mission packs and weapons. Firewalker pack was not amazing, but it is okay for a nice change of pace for the game. I'm hoping for more down the line with a bit more variation.
Having to pay for costumes is a bit of an odd choice. You'd figure that would be the free stuff, and missions would be pay. Oh well. I'm still happy with all that we've recieved for free, and paying for something once in a while is fine by me, as long as it's not overpriced.
FYI, finally available now after a long all day delay. Downloading now. Looks to be a gig owrth of data, which I think is the largest of all the DLC items released yet.I'll have some feedback after V is on hopefully.
I hate buying fake currency.
But I want more ME2. Downloadan.
She's like Zaeed. No dialogue wheel. Not sure if she has "area specific dialogue" like Zaeed did on Omega, when he talked to one of the merc team leaders.
The mission was cool. Shep was on his James Bond sh*t. Had to infiltrate a party and steal an item. After that shoot your way out of course.
The character seems really useful. Especially since her "Shadow Strike" or whatever turns an enemy, which means you can direct it away from you if it's causing problems. Haven't tried the Flash Grenade loyalty power yet. The enemies on her mission use it though, it messes up your screen for a sec.
The new gun is awesome. Best SMG in the game (not saying much really) and an all around good weapon, period.
Here's a few pics:

Nice, glad to hear the smg is good, I always end up falling back on my tempest. thanks for the pics.
My thoughts on the DLC. Finished it in about 1 hour or so, give or take a bit. Maybe 70 mins. Decent length. It was a fun mission and wasn't just gunning the whole time. I like these kind of little missions. New SMG is fucking hax. I love it. Kasumi is also hax. She cloaks and she must run at 90 mph to get to the target as quick as she does. Very useful though. I'm a little (not much) upset Kasumi isn't a fully interactable character much like Zaeed, but she has plenty to say. All in all, if you love ME2, pay 7 bucks and get some more entertainment out of it. I have no regrets about it.
Also; loved the "Credit Chit" thing in the mission, gave me a good laugh.
Didn't even realize it the first time but there's a couple different ways to complete this mission.
The first time I had Kasumi pretend she was Roe or whatever the security boss was. The guy guarding the door let me in when she radioed to him that I have clearance.
The second time I went out on the balcony, killed 2 guards, then broke out the glass window. This let me in the hallway directly behind the guy guarding the door.
Entered Hock's room, and the second time I accidentally set off his alarm clock which alerted the guard at the door. Killed him, etc.
Anyway I thought it was kinda cool you could do that two different ways.
Would Kasumi be a good choice for my upcoming Insanity playthrough? I'm thinking of going Adept with my second person undecided (probably Garrus).
Kasumi seems really good, but I wouldn't pair her with Garrus. With the SMG from her loyalty mission and 2 overloads, that's serious overkill on shield damage. As an adept with either of those 2 along, defenses shouldn't be too much of an issue, so I'd say bring someone who can dish out a lot of damage (Grunt/Miranda) or someone that offers extra crowd control (Tali/Legion, maybe Mordin.)
I don't know about the other biotics, I never really gave them a chance.
Does anybody know what's going on with the DLC for PC? I've yet to find it or any news about its delay.

It's been up since last night.
Yeah the PC version was up last night within an hour of the 360 one. Those pics I posted are from PC.
The problem with Kasumi is that it's hard to pick just 2 skills of hers to max lol.
Shadow Strike is amazing, since it does 450-550 damage depending on how you evolve it, so definitely 4 of that, and then either 4 points in -recharge or 4 points in overload. Right now I'm leaning towards:
4 Rapid Shadow Strike
4 Heavy Overload
3 Infiltrator
2 Flashbang Grenade
but I could easily switch the middle 2, fkn hard to decide.
The Kasumi mission was pretty awesome, did anyone notice that
Spoiler: show
Still, playing as Adept with Miranda/Grunt and Kasumi is a lot of fun.
That bioware auction thing is currently going on. Most everything has sold for around/over 10k tokens lol. The only things that I would want I can buy on the store for a lot less of a time commitment than gaining all those points.
Here's a list of what's been won so far:

I would probably sleep with Casey Hudson before Cliff Blesinzski, just sayin
