Hell yea!
Yeah. Just YouTube mass effect 2 firepower pack and you'll get fresh vids. They look sick as hell. Definitely buying tonight to add to the me2 collection.
I think I'll wait until the shadow broker DLC is released to get it and use it for that, supposedly the new pistol has more bullets than the carnifex so that's pretty fucking sweet
Lair of the Shadow Broker should be pretty soon I think, less than a month I bet. perhaps I shall touch kyo until he tells me the exact date
I noticed that you said 'touch' kyo.
I guess asking only gets you so far. Anyway, I'll get the new DLC, as I always do, but it all feels petty until Shadow Broker.
So when Shadow Broker lands I might make a run through on Insanity. Only problem is deciding what job to choose, as I've narrowed it down to Engineer or Vanguard (with Geth Shotgun, should be interesting).
Upside of playing engineer is easily getting the overload achievement, but the lack of decent weapons is worrying. So, what job should I take? I've played Adept, Infiltrator and Soldier, but not really interested in Sentinel as it looks kinda boring, but I'm open to anything really.
Vanguard or Soldier, Insanity is hard enough for a well armored character until after Horizon, assuming you're buying upgrades whenever you can. I did Insanity with Soldier, Revenant and Hardened Adrenaline Burst spammage galore.
You should get the overload achievement pretty easily anyway with Miranda, I got it on my first playthrough.
I thought Sentinel was fun, that's the first class I played.
However, Vanguard was the most fun followed by Infiltrator.
Played all classes on Insanity (never played anything below that), all of them were fun but those 3 stood out the most to me.
Unfortunately, though, because of the fact that everything has shields or armor on Insanity... making full use of Tech Armor's knockdown was pretty tough but when you do it is pretty dandy.
Most enjoyed infiltrator, but that's probably because I'm used to FPS.
So played a little Vanguard just to see what I'm up against, and I think the hardest thing about playing the class is that I need to stop playing like a pussy (Infiltrator fits like a glove). When Charges go right, holy shit it's good, but when Charges go wrong you get fucked. Worst is when Shepard won't charge even though you're right in front of the enemy with nothing in your way. Usually that's how I die lol. But still fun, interesting how it recharges shield as well, shit must be so broken below Insanity.
I played Adept on my (first run) Insanity playthrough. Apparently it sucks on Insanity but I felt like a boss by the end of the game.
Also Elcura has an avatar wtf.
I started this game recently and it's just amazing, it rekindled my hope in humanity after playing the travesty that was FF13.
Yeah, I get that feeling sometimes as well (well, longer frustated period followed by short bursts of awesome). The aggressive style is drastically different from my last couple of playthroughs, where keep away is the name of the game (Adept and Infiltrator). And Insanity requires a lot more team coordination and use of their powers.
Now I need to figure out some good teammates. Probably someone long range and/or with biotics (so Thane and someone else?)
Yeah, it's pretty weird...
Miranda is God tier teammate. Other slot for me varied a lot. I haven't played the new DLC so I dunno how good Kasumi is though.
I recognize Miranda's awesome talents, but her AI is so stupid sometimes. I guess I'll just have to take care and get her into cover asap.
Kasumi is awesome as well, I usually take her with me to the final fight. Deadly Shadow Strike is nice, I swear she fucking teleports to her target. But the best thing about Kasumi DLC is the submachine gun you get, the Locust is amazing.
I mostly played with Kasumi and Thane. I love the stealth/assassin type people xD
Miranda is easily the best squad member, her group buff is godtier. After that I typically used Grunt or Samara/Morinth, depending on what class I was playing.
