are you sure your Jack was loyal then? because even if you do Jack's loyalty mission you can lose her loyalty by siding with Miranda in their argument.

Are you sure? I sided with miranda and Jack keeps telling me to "Fuck off" when I talk to her, but it still lists her as loyal.

She's still loyal under that situation, if you convince her after the feud with Miranda with paragon/renegade choices. Not sure what the renegade one was, but I know the paragon option was telling her it was all lip service to Miranda. She's loyal to me again, powers and all, but she won't even open dialogue with me either, just screams "Fuck off."

It's actually pretty funny, but I wish I had waited until after I glitched paragon from Samara's loyalty quest before I did Zaeed's, because I lost his loyalty too.

Oh well, will have to get the trophies for all survivors on another playthrough, oh darn!

Did you download the Cerberus Network? Pretty sure the comic is connected to all the free DLC we get with the PS3 copy.

yeah, you have to download it first. It's free if you bought the game/have the code.
Not free if you dont

and as far as Jack becoming Loyal then unloyal then loyal again, I have no idea how that effects if she lives or dies.
When I beat the game I only had Jack unloyal and I didn't have her do anything at all and she ended up living.

This. I started the game on the PS2 before the Cerberus DLC was fully installed, and didn't get the comic book. Had to restart and do it again.

That sounds like it was probably it. I remember the argument between the two of them, but I don't remember whose side I chose, likely Miranda's. I try to avoid reading too much about the game, at least on the first playthrough, so I didn't know it was possible to lose her loyalty.

What was it that got patched? I know a few spots were wonky, but I didn't notice anything bad.
And I'm annoyed that they announce dlc now because I just returned the game to gamefly on friday.

because I'm poor and I rented it cause I didn't know if I liked it and then in like a few days I had almost finished it and I didnt want to buy a game that I had already beat!!!!!!!!!!
I did regret renting it and not buying it though. and I did keep it for about a month lol

You don't "beat" Mass Effect. For it has eternal replay value.

If you start a new game, it should automatically boot up. That's how it worked for me.

Fired up the game, but didn't get any update. Adam Kovic (aka Dead Pixel) from Machinima's Inside Gaming was at a EA event this past week and they're under agreement not to talk about a certain DLC pack until the 25th, I wonder if this is it.

i did the same thing souj did and gamefly'd it, and just returned it last week lol.. i wanted to buy it but im really broke right now so i might buy it once the price drops a bit so i can do the DLC because i really enjoyed the shit out of this game
