Are you skipping all the collection quests? I got to 49 or 50 on my Adept playthrough, although I always make sure I hunt down every single thresher maw. Then again, I usually take the Thresher Maws to 1% with the mako's weapons then get out and kill it with small arms, since you get a lot more exp that way. I guess you also get a pretty large amount of exp for Bringing Down the Sky?

I didn't make it to level 60 until a few hours into playthrough 3, either.

Higher difficulties yield more exp, so a "single" playthrough can get you pretty high if you play on insanity but at that point you've played through the game at least 2 times before anyway. I think 40-50 after the first playthrough is a bit more reasonable, depending on how many sidequests you do.

Pinnacle Station was like 12k EXP and an apartment for shephard?

I already finished Pinnacle Station, though i don't recall the exp. I doubt you get it everytime you finish one sucessfully, probably only when you finished the assignments.

it would certainly make it take longer to beat, since mobs have so fucking much hp in harcore/insanity that it's just retarded

I remember getting ~1.2k every time I beat the turian fags time for the particular scenario, theres another healthy boost after you do the quest with the admirals final scenario

Speaking of which, do people use Predator H X armor for wrex, or the Berserker (geth) armor? I usually have him Berserker (or the other Geth level X armor which I forget the name of) since everyone else on my team is in Predator L/H except for Tali and I get tired of seeing green.

Also I *really* hope the non-mission planets in ME2 have a little more diversity to them besides Warehouse, Bunker, Mine, and Freighter lol

in the Grissom system the outside is a bunker, but inside is a warehouse. It's fucking crazy

I have Wrex use Berserker, because it is good and it looks awesome. I do not like the Predator armor very much. Thankfully, they let you mix and match armors and paint them too; in the second game.

As for the planets, even if they decrease the number you can land on, at the very least they need to mix it up a lot more. And make those facilities look like someone actually lives there.

Seriously, apparently the Normandy and Kowloon class freighters are the only ships the alliance can build.

make sure you ask for the omni-tool as the final reward, you'll get a Savant (not to be confused with Savant Bio-Amp which is also pwn) and those tend to be pretty rare.

Just remember to buy 4-5 cheapo omnitools from vendors and swap them out for your teammates' Savants/good tools before you leave for Ilos, because for whatever reason there's a glitch and they don't carry over to a new game+ if they're equipped. If they're just sitting in your inventory, you're fine.

Also does anyone have any experience with Insanity mode? Is it that much harder than Hardcore? The high HP on hardcore is only really problematic on krogans and humans who use immunity, but geth are quite easy. My plan was to use Liara+Tali for Geth and Liara+Kaidan for Humans (so I could have an second Lift as well as Neural Shock), but does anyone have any better ideas?

This is probably what I'll end up going with on my first playthrough, just like I did for ME1. I really like the changes they've made to the class. Thinking Tali + a biotic for my teammates just like I did with ME1, so much for branching out lol.
