The Launch Trailer gives me chills, its the epic orchestral music. It always does.

if you load your profile from ME1 and your character was a vanguard can you chose to make him a soldier?
so basically switch classes.

Please please everybody that is currently playing this and will be tuesday. Once you get to the citadel, I don't remember the place exactly, look for a salarian talking about video games. It's a really good parody of EB games/Gamestop and the salarain mentions "Galaxies of Fantasy " "I heard it's based on old turian mythothy! It has 11 billion players."

Just curious, are you near finishing a playthrough after 22 hours? I've read that this one is supposed to be quite a bit longer than the first, and one review mentioned it is up to 40 hours long, but I find it hard to trust stuff like that as the first was supposed to be 25-30 and I finished my first playthrough in 15 hours. In fact pretty much every Bioware game I've played other than Dragon age I've finished in 20 or less.

Does one need to have played 1 to play 2? I got 2 but I'm debating whether to get 1 and play through it for the story/import shit. I don't have lots of time so I ask if it'll be worth the time playing through 1 for the story or can I skip and just do 2?

Definitely play one, or at the very least look up the story. The game is more than good enough to play though, worth investing what time you have into it.
