You can't equip it if nobody in your posession can use assault rifles.
edit: and no, he doesn't use rifles, only smg (or heavy pistol, i forget) and sniper rifles.

I just beat it... the final dungeon was epic beyond belief!
As for the squadmates...

Ugh, this game will drive me mad attempting different combinations time and time again!
I edited my post... did something like that happen to you as well?
Not exactly.

The fucking thermal clip shit pisses me off. What possible reason would there be for technology getting worse after two years?
BTW, I just realized that there is an achievement called no one left behind where you're supposed to survive the final mission with all your teammates... so I guess that it does depend on the choices you make.

Skipped going to the gym yesterday to pick it up. Kind of wishing I had leveled my guys to 60 on ME before loading up on ME2. But so far I'm enjoying it.

Picked this up last night, and was able to spend 2 hours with it.
Very happy that essentially everything has improvedOnly qualm with the game so far is that the talents don't seem to be as customizable as they were in ME1 - doesn't seem to be as many available, but stuff probably unlocks later that I don't know about yet.
My lv42 shepard that I imported started at lv2 with 180k+ credits and 2500 of each harvesting material. Also it makes a big difference in what your alignment was for your ME1 character, my guy was a Paragon and came in with ~135 paragon points which helps unlock stuff you might not have access to if you just start a new character.
Can't wait to waste 30 more hours on this game!

Short and easy dlc but exciting nonetheless. You get a flamethrower heavy weapon out of it so it wasn't all bad.
I agree with this for the most part. I kinda miss having 20+ powers between tali, liara, and myself, so maybe I'm just not used to it but the whole power system just feels a little too streamlined. That, and the fact that they did away with XP from killing enemies make levels feel a bit arbitrary. Also, scanning is relaxing but beyond tedious, although I can't say it's any worse than driving the mako around looking for crap.
Still, game is amazing etc

does anyone know of any locations that have the CE (360) still, that aren't jacked up prices? i had it preordered from cduniverse but that just turned into a backorder which i'm expecting to never get filled. i'm not really in a rush, i still have to play the first one a few times, but i'd like to have the CE.
