Imported a level 34 (I believe, or close to it) and got 2500 of each mineral, and 120k credits. Good/Bad? I don't quite remember, because its been SO LONG since I have played the first.
I hated the skills in the first game. Maybe it's just because I went from soldier in ME1 to adept in ME2, but I like 2's system a lot more. Too many of the skill points in ME1 are spent on 2% damage increases and other passive abilities (first aid, weapons training, armor, etc) and then there are abilities like AI hacking which, more often than not, don't even work as they should. In 2 there's a noticeable difference with each point you put in, especially once you max a skill out.
It's definitely streamlined, but I don't see how that's a bad thing.
ok so i may be retarded but how the F do i use a medi gel on myself mid fight?
i'll be like chillin getting my vanguard on, just vanguardin niggas then BAM all the sudden my screen gettin red and im trying to run away but i get stuck on a box or a wall and then i am like HOLD UP HOW DO I MEDIGEL?
that sounds just like 3 separate instances for me last night
the only time I knew it was used was when I used the Unity ability. Other than that I couldn't figure out how to use it.
yea i can use them to revive my homies when they are KO'd but no idea how to use on myself. was it even possible to use one on yourself in the first? i cant remember
yep, the Y button on 360 used one, it filled the health of all your homies and yourself.
Medigel doesn't heal you in ME2, it's just used for unity. Sucks for vanguards because they don't have any defensive abilities and using charge for anything but retreating or finishing a guy off is basically suicide.
BUT IF I DIE HOW DO I UNITY?
Above poster is correct. Unity is the only way to use medigel. It only works when one of your squadmates goes down. Honestly you shouldn't even be out of cover that much where you need to use them. On my first playthrough I think I died 3 times total in 40 hours. I'm now on Hard difficulty and the game is MUCH harder. Makes you play a lot smarter. Shields recover so fast anyway, I don't find the need to spam medigel like I did in the first one.
I didn't pick vanguard to play smarter!
I picked it to jack dudes up before they could do anything about it![]()
question, I just got the second set of dossiers, about how far in am I percentagewise? I read that you swap discs a third of the way in and I haven't had to yet, so is there a lot more to the game?
Spoiler: show
The second set of dossiers isn't very far in. About half way if you skip all the loyalty quests and go straight for the end. More like 1/4 of the way if you plan to actually make your squad loyal and upgrade your ship. Even less if you fly around looking for sidequests.
damn, its longer than I thought (in a good way)
How exactly do I get the Dragon Blood armor or w/e it's called? The me website says it requires DA:O, which I have but can't find details.
dlc?
or possibly just need to register ME2?
