Femshep or gtfo. I'm sick and tired of large, brawny, emotionless male protagonists. I did about half of one runthrough of ME1 with a Manshep, and I might finish just so I can import a wholly evil motherfucker into ME2, but he was so boring it sapped my interest in the game.

And since Kaidan is a useless twat, getting the Paramour achievement in ME1 means freaky alien lesbo sex if you go Femshep.

I'm genuinely considering not doing the romance subplot the first time through, because I want to see how it changes meeting Liara again. Been trying to avoid spoilers, but a little birdy told me she is nothing like she was in ME1, and I wanna see how trying to get some freaky zombie alien lesbo sex turns out.

Yeah. I could never do pure renegade or pure paragon runs. It always ended up either someone should die for what they did, or there wasn't a reason for them to die.

I'm doing sentinel with the asari biotics slam ability on my 2nd playthrough.
when teamed up with jacob (or someone else with biotics). I can throw people all over the place. use him to pull, then throw biotics, or chainability mobs around. Watch Shepard lift a mob up into the air, and slam them into the ground. particularly satisfying with robot pieces flying all over :D

(I've been trying to play a little on ultimate, but it goes so !"#% slow, keep running out of ammo having to use abilities a crapload and ducking for cover, takes forever)

Alright I've cleared everything, minus some achievements, and starting on Insanity as a Soldier with Legion's loyalty skill. This good or bad? I just want to get through it as fast as possible but still upgrade the ship when I can.

the planet scanning system makes me want the Mako back >.>
well, I probably wouldn't if you neeeded the materials to upgrade.
but then again, if there were static locations like in ME1, you could probably soon get a "#¤! map with locations. I suspect that planet mining is going to prevent me from doing as many playthroughs as I would have otherwise.

I wouldn't go solo soldier, id go at least adapt or the 1/2 engineer. "forgot the name". Ammo gets scarce and cant depend on teammates.

I'll try and see how far I can get with soldier but if I cant get far I'll start over as a Adept and see how it goes.

I'll never be sick of Blum's voice, but they need to stop wasting him on silly characters. Though Wilson might turn out to be the mastermind of ME3, now cyborgized and still wanting to bang Miranda.

EDIT: I might aim for a "complete failure" run and try to get as many people killed as possible. Not sure how to get Shepard killed though, probably though the vampire asari.

i have a question about advanced training. do you keep every power you learn, or is it only one at a time? like if i get overload and pwn for a bit and then get slam, will slam replace overload?

It gives you an 'extra' power slot. It does not replace any of your powers, however, if you do advance training again--you'll swap out the old power for the new one.
