I went with Armor-Piercing Ammo. +70% dmg. Assault rifle becomes godly.

I'm kinda curious if we get to learn another skill once I find that weapon cache in the geth ship again.. Learning Assault Rifle skill made the game sooo much easier as a vanguard.

Soldiers get to pick on the weapons laying on the ground. They are the best available.

Is there only 2 types of each gun? Kinda skimpy I thought. Loved the magnum heavy pistol until I fell in love with the AR.

After going back and fourth about whether to buy or not, i'm about to start playing this... any specific classes that will make the game feel like it was worth it to buy early on?

Looking at some gameplay videos on the site, like 3-4classes look interesting. Didn't play any of ME1 but I played the shit out of Borderlands, kinda disappointed in no coop or online anything. Can't decide on which looks the most fun at all. Soldier looks ok, the adept looks op, the vangaurd looks like a blast, and sentinel looks kinda decent with the throw he has.

I chose vangaurd and I gotta say its pretty balls to the walls. Probably the most versatile and gives you a large spectrum on the game mechanics. If I had one thing to say to convince you to buy it it would be:

Buy this now. Its incredibad. Thats right. Incredibad. (the good kind of incredibad... more like Incredibadass.)

You get a 3rd about 1/2 way in. You can get Legions sniper, Grunts shotty, a Jesus AR, and something else.

Wait how do you train in other weapon skills? I thought the only bonus powers you could get were the special ones each of you're squad has, like slam, reaver, armor-piercing ammo, etc.

So I just completed the game and I'm about to start a playthrough on Insanity, I never did it on Insanity on ME1, so I'm not sure what I should be expected besides higher enemy health.

Can anyone give me some pointers I should use? (Eg what the most efficeient/best class would be to use or something?)

Flirt with Yeoman Kelly, then you can talk to her and convince her to come to your room. Next time you talk, she'll note you have a fishtank and she'll offer to feed your fish!

The class you choose isn't as important as the squadmates you bring along. You need a good balance on insanity because literally everything has some form of shields or armor. You want to have one warp and one overload available at the very least. Squad ammo buffs are nice to have too, specifically armor piercing rounds. If you can't take them down efficiently then ammo is going to be a huge problem.

Personally I've been doing ok as adept, but if anything charges me before their armor is down I'm pretty much screwed.

Oh damn, I fail at reading I guess. I was an infiltrator so I just picked the sniper rifle thinking I couldn't use the other two weapons.
