I also find it funny once you have your initial dialogue with Anderson, he has nothing new to say, even after beating the game. Other big characters for that matter as well.

I think they probably recorded a lot of the dialogue for ME3 already, while they had the actors there. Anderson, the Quarians, Bailey, etc. all probably have huge roles in the final chapter.

I wonder if ME3 will have you gathering allies like in DA:O, where you can have either the Geth or the Quarians for the final battle. Maybe it'll be a choice just like DA:O, Clan Wrex or Clan Gadwhatever, Liara or the Shadow Broker, Cerberus or the Alliance, etc.

Also, what the fuck at the proliferation of AI in this game. I got the impression from the first game that because of the geth AI was illegal and looked down upon universally. Having just EDI would've been semi reasonable imo as Cerberus is evil and shit but like half the mobs you kill were mechs and in council space where that shit definitely shouldn't fly especially since Shephard has now had 4 side quests that involve shutting down rogue VIs that wreck havoc lol.

The way I remember it, VIs were never illegal. The mechs you fight throughout the game are definitely not AI, just defense drones set to attack anyone without clearance. I could be forgetting something but I'm pretty sure EDI is the only AI featured prominently in ME2, which as you said, makes sense.

Cerberus is a very "small" organization despite the fact the Alliance funnels quite a bit of money into it. They don't have the manpower to wage a war, but the have the financial power to get what they want. (Like reviving sheppard (deus ex machina or not) and rebuilding the Normandy.)

I really loved the part where you get to use joker in the Normandy, for some reason it reminded me a lot of Xenosaga when the Woglinde is attacked by the gnosis. I loved that part.

Are there any sites to look up on how to spec a class? I'm trying to make my vanguard more interesting before I throw away the 5-6hours I put into it and switch to sentinel or infiltrator... so I unlearned my talents to try and respec them.

I rarely charge and I think if I did it more it would be a more fun class, so thinking of maxing charge (probably go heavy charge) but not sure where to spend talents after that. Got 16 to work with atm.

VIs arent illegal but even a rogue VI can cause so much havoc, why risk it with a drone that has a gun. Even if the mechs are defense drones, the prejudice against anything synthetic in 1 made me think this shit wouldnt be cool. Also, Tali is completely nonreactive to EDI which seemed a bit surprising considering its a real AI like geth..
