I believe the difference between "Occasionally attacks twice" and "Double Attack" is that the latter can proc on WS's and the former can't.the big question is if nirvana and the bst mythic give double attack to sic commands and bloodpacts.
Pretty sure BPs and pet TP moves count as weapon skills as well so...
It definitely makes more sense to assume that it will only do the most basic of things that it says it will do. but honestly the aftermath is not even close to being the greatest draw of the nirvana as it is.
Ah I missed that, thankies. (Drakesbane comment)
it's too bad Ryunohige doesn't boost all jumps though similar to Spirit Surge =/ but it still seems like it'll be 1 of the top weapons along with Liberator, Koga and Glanz (Yes Glanz does rank up there for zerging where you have time to prepare and sadly nothing else. Even without HF though I can't see it being that hard to maintain 300 TP)
why are all these drgs derailing a perfectly good mnk thread...
"perfectly good?"
This is a poof thread. The end.
Only Mythic that seems woth it, IMO, is Nirvana for SMN.. IDC about the dmg even, -4 perp is like.. godly. <.<; I'll never have the time/gil to fully upgrade though.
BLM + SMN mythic > the useless Claustrum, tyty.
It's entirely possible that they'd do a full blown revamp of all the mythic WS, I meand they did just that for the 225 WS back in the days.
Maybe they'd tweak the fucking weapon too...but who knows, maybe they're pulling the "oh it'd fuck with people that already upgraded because their choice might have been different" argument that they're doing with not improving some underpowered relic.
Newsflash SE, nobody hates across the board buff, power creep means jack shit when the item in question costs 90 million gil.
I guess just have to wait and see, maybe as more enter the circulation, SE would finally get their collective heads out of their asses.
it should be around 20%, or approximately 100 dmg, due to Diabolos not having any innate MAB trait or something thats like very close to 100 base.
(basing off other peoples data on MAB affecting diabolos)
for the celestials, im not so sure because I'm not too familiar with magic dmg math and especially for merit BPs, i think MAB probably factors in before TP bonus than after..
also, celestials are apparently BLM job, so they have 32 MAB to begin with..
Nirvana is worthless at this stage. Avatar has poor accuracy and pathetic attack. Bahamut staff is way better than Nirvana for endgame activities. - perp cost gear is overrated, unless you play solo SMN all the time it's not worth getting Nirvana.
Aymur can really change BST playstyle if enhance Sic effect either:1) allows BST to choose pet's TP moves (very unlikely) 2) removes Sic recast.
Eh, my problem was with the word "only":
"Only Mythic that seems woth it, IMO, is Nirvana for SMN.. "
And BTW, BLM was the person's other 75 job, according to their comment.
I'm not saying the SMN one isn't worth it, but I think it's very hard to compare across jobs, and saying "the only one that is worth it..." followed by your job, is pretty ignorant and dumb.
I think there's a list of 5-10 that are "worth it"...my definition of "worth it" is they are the best option available to you for a decent number of situations. If you want to get more technical, I don't think any relic or mythic is "worth it"...if you took all that money and sunk it into getting everyone in your shell other upgrades, you would be a much stronger shell overall. Clearly some shells are an exception to this, and everyone does have the best they can get already, so yea.

3) Allows sic to calculate TP similar to a martial weapon.
Also on Nirvana...
Not many SMN's use magic based Rage Bloodpacts outside of Nether Blast. Since NB is pretty consistant as it has been said, Nirvana would more than likely add +100 more dmg not counting Dream Shroud.
99% of BST jugpets are worthless (even Lars) in endgame situations. Aymur only shines if it allows Amigo to spam TP move, specifically 1000 needles, extra TP is not going to make any difference.
Magical BP is a complete joke. Unless new avatars have some powerful magical BP, it's not worth spending 90mil to add 100-200 damage to your Nether Blast, which is not even that useful to begin with. Don't forget SE is going to change BP range and failed BPs will no longer eat mp/recast in future update, less reason to use NB.
