Lost Planet 2 Announced on Xbox Live

Capcom announced today on Xbox Live the sequel to Lost Planet 2

No date set or anything like that, but the announcement includes quite a bit of, what seems to be, in-game footage, and it uses Capcoms in-house game engine TM Framework 2

The skinny so far is the planet E.D.N that you were on in Lost Planet had basically thawed, leaving a different environment in its wake.

Im kinda excited about this game. I thought the first one was a nice change of pace from what was available at the time. Im just hoping that the gameplay mechanics stays the same in the sequel, because thats what drew me in on the first one.

I loved Lost Planet. I went through it 2 times again last summer alone, needless to say I will most certainly pre-order this when its available.

I enjoyed the first one. To a certain point. The story was alright. I loved using the suits and all the different combinations you could use. But the ending kind of pissed me off.

I'm not exactly a massive fan of boy gets the girl or anything like that. But come on, give us something here :rage: The ending ruined what was a good game up until that point, at least for me.

Me too, I was totally let down by that ending as well. I loved every other part of that game up until that point..... not the sappy type either but damn.

I'm never going to play it so you might as well tell me what the ending is lol. I liked the first and second Prince of Persia's, after that I felt they were all just shitty rehashes of the old ones.

You basically go and destroy all that you salvaged to save her life and let the bad guy free.You can find the ending videos on youtube... Basically, if you care about the story, you can get the same feeling of having not played it as having went through and "saved" it all...
