I find it very ironic that I've lived in Rochester for nearly 25/28 years of my life and have yet to eat a Garbage Plate from Nick Tahou's. One of life's mysteries, I guess.

Regarding the sweet/salty mix, have you ever had chocolate-covered pretzels? It's the same idea. Of course you need the right kind of sweet to go with the right kind of salty, but it's a good mix when properly executed.

I lived in rochester for 20 years. Garbage Plates are amazing. I never understood why they never caught on big in Buffalo.

Well, you can find equally good garbage plate knockoffs in the surrounding towns. You don't have to go all the way down to Lyell ave for a plate.

I don't think it's called Nick Tahous anymore anyways. It's called Stevie P's or something like that.

But anyway, I'm in complete agreement about Dinosaur BBQ. Actually I have plans to go there on March 14th before the Buffalo Bandits/Rochester Knighthawks lacrosse game.
