The last thing I care about when it comes to an action film is the reviews. It's not exactly a critic friendly film.

I can understand why people are disappointed if they haven't looked into the film. They're marketing it with Arnold's name getting top billing. All the tv promos lately have focused on the scene with Arnold, Bruce and Sly when the first two are hardly in the film at all.

I think many people over estimated things. I mean, out of all the clips and pics we've seen since this movie has been announced, we only see one scene with Willis, Arnold, and Sly. But people seemed to expect them to be together more. If there had been more, they would've shown more in previews. Since that was one of the bigger attractions to the movie.

Yeah I'm pretty sure both Bruce and arnold are in this for like a few scenes at most. They're both uncredited and Arnold is the governator and all. I don't expect this to be much than a mindless action flick, but i'll be watching it.

Van Damme was offered a part but turned it down for 'career reasons'. Sly contacted him really early in the production process and couldn't give him a definitive answer on what his role was.

They gave Van Damme's part to Lundgren because Van Damme didn't like the way the character was written. They had to re-do the whole character.

It's a shame, I really would have liked them all to be in it (seriously, Randy Couture, who the fuck is that compared to the other guys?).

Honestly, even without the Governator and Willis, this movie would be something epic. The fact they are in it, even as just cameos, just pumps it up to a whole 'nother level.

Also, that was easily the most epic. trailer. ever. Even the old spice guy can't compete with such pure, unchecked manliness.

Stallone also scrapped the idea of Rambo 5 for a sequel for this.

Rambo V

The movie was officially greenlit by Nu Image/Millenium Films in September 2009 and initially Stallone said the movie was to be entitled Rambo V: The Savage Hunt and would be loosely based on a novel called Hunter (a novel to which Stallone had the rights for ten years), involving Rambo hunting a "feral beast".
