Just got back from watching this. I thought it was worth the money for the most part. Lots of action, lots of action induced laughs. Little to no plot, but it didn't need one to weigh it down.

Overall, I'd give it a B or a B- Good action movie, worth the price, worth torrenting if you're cheap or lazy.

It starts off being pretty intense in realism and being realistic (it is all CG though). But, it goes down hill from there in the gore department. The very end of the move had the worst gore CG i have ever seen. It was stupid bad....

I would say it is no where near as bad as Rambo 4 since it dose not get any where near as much screen time.

I just found out my favourite MMA fighter Rodrigo Nogueira plays a short role in this film. I totally need to watch it now. I don't care if he has no lines, doesn't even matter.

Wesley Snipes was offered the role of Hale Ceasar but couldn't accept because, due to his tax problems, he wasn't allowed to leave the United States without the court's approval. The role was taken by Forest Whitaker and rewritten for Whitaker, but he was forced to leave the film due to a scheduling conflict. When it was announced that rapper 50 Cent was replacing Whitaker, many fans were disappointed and, after a few days, Stallone decided to cast former NFL player Terry Crews in the part.

Really fun movie, I had a blast. Plot was stupid but the dialogue between characters and one liners were funny. And omg, dolph lundren is the man in this! His performance was the best thing imo

Honestly, I think it turned out for the best since Crews was freakin awesome in this film. Snipes and 50 wouldn't have come close to being how fantastic Crews was on screen. The guy wasn't even acting either, he was just being himself, and that's what made it so badass.

Hell, I don't think any of em were really acting, I think they just ad-libbed 90% of the movie. This is what action movies should be, one liners, explosions, over the top action and just enough story to explain why everything is going down. I really don't think anyone in this film was bad, everyone delivered on exactly what was expected of them and then some.

And yes, Dolph was the god damn man. Crazy freakin russians ftmfw.
