Theres still Elshimo, Kuzotz, Li'Telor and Vollbow to look forward too at least.

I think they might add more pages to existing manuals, giving more combinations of mobs that you need to kill to meet your quota. I'd prefer if they stuck to single mob families, honestly, so that it could be worked into EXP parties...

also, I'd think they might add Bibiki Bay to Kolshushu, Uleguerand to Valdeunea, and the rest of the outdoor CoP zones that were inserted into existing regions...
Tavnazian Archipelago is also likely.

to say the least.. FoV will be coming to 75s as well, which is great for more casual solo content.

I thought they just said that for when they introduced FoV. They never said anything about potential future expansions of the system, so it's possible that it'll be brought to non-original areas.

Ok that's wrong again though June 30 = Summer not Spring you're just arguing for the sake of arguing with that point. Also SE said in an interview they planned on releasing these altogether or in a short period of time. I'll try and find the interview if you don't believe me but there was a lot of interviews about MMM and stuff around fanfest.

Nah I'm not even here to argue. All I say is the beginning of summer is end of june, so SE may wait till the last day of spring to release it. And about the interview you are talking, they said the content of each expansion will be released at once. But they never said all expansions will be released at once.
And I repeat myself, JPbutton interview confirmed what I said, a Crystaline prophecy will be realsed first, they were still working on some details 2 weeks, ago. Please read it.
If you are right, it will be very funny, because they are still working on the first expansion, I doubt they'll have time to release the 3 expansions together in spring.

Xarcabard [S] and Beaucedine Glacier [S] aren't dungeons, and Walk of Echoes isn't a Northlands zone...

The original implementation was the original zones. They said if there was sufficient demand they'd consider rolling it out to other areas.

i seem to remember an interview mentioning FoV in that it was originally designed to cater to lower levels and also to bring people back into the old parts of the game and thus the focus was made on core areas. They said they were considering also bring it to Zilart and CoP areas eventually if reception to FoV was good...

I went and looked for some evidence and read in the Dengeki February '09 interview that they were considering expanding to other areas. They might have changed their minds, or I may have been wrong all along.

What game have you been playing? Or are you new to FFXI? There's always a long wait between chunks of storyline. If you can't handle that, if you "lose interest" in the story based on that alone, then FFXI isn't for you. Yet you get a stick up your ass when I suggest you go elsewhere (WoW, which is known for handing everything to you on a golden platter -- no need for you to wait and lose interest!).

You bitch about lack of missions when missions weren't even due this update (again, how long have you been playing? Wings has always alternated between nation quest line and mission). If you're not happy with FFXI, the door is thataway.

Neat I guess, would be nice if there was a reward that we didn't just NPC for 2k.

This already has me worried. If they don't realize by now, the only thing people care about are two words "Job Adjustments." So, if they wanted to say battle-related instead of job-related, I'm a little worried.

- Large-scale expansion of the Moblin Maze Mongers and Fields of Valor systems.

They always start with a small teaser. And people always panic/think they know everyone/say the game is dying.

My favorite part about update time is people complaining about the lack of specific information in the teasers, as if we should expect to know everything right now.

Based on some of the comments in the teaser threads (such as this one), I can't help but think some people confuse these for the actual update notes...
