About us

Elysium is an endgame linkshell on the Shiva server currently geared towards doing endgame events that usually go overlooked or are not given as much attention in your typical HNMLS, such as Sky, Sea, Salvage, Zeni etc. Our current membership has a mixture of dedicated players that have plenty of endgame experience and knowledge of how to accomplish most tasks with varying degrees of success. We will endeavour to win at all costs, but will strive to have fun while doing so.

We have a general idea of when we wish to return to HNM camping and doing large-scaled linkshell events again such as Dynamis and Einherjar, but right now our primary focus is to gear people to a cap from Limbus, Sky, Sea, Salvage and Zeni NM's in a relatively reasonable timeframe. We will still actively camp Fafnir/Nidhogg and most other HNM from time to time, but as of now we are focused on gaining and equiping our members from other events before we return to them in a full capacity.

We expect to be back to hardcore HNM camping and doing Dynamis and Einherjar by Spring/Summer '09.

As of right now our members are openly encouraged to apply to other Dynamis and Einherjar linkshells to obtain the experience or wins they need, with the expressed understanding that Elysium will be doing those events a few months from now.

Our event times usually take place between 6pm EST through to 11pm EST - sometimes earlier through to a later finish on weekends. We try our best to maximize our efficiency so we come away from farming and events with something to show for our efforts, as we are looking to gear our members quickly so we can do the large-scaled events again in the very near future.

What we are looking for

Skilled, experienced, dedicated, well merited and moderately to well geared players with a good playtime to be able to attend most of the events we do and have ambitions of doing in future. It is advantageous to have more than one level 75 job -- in a perfect world that would be 1 DD and 1 Mage, but other combinations of jobs will not be refused if we feel that person could be of great benefit to the linkshell in the long run.

- Black Mage -- moderately geared and well merited
- Red Mage -- moderately geared and well merited
- Bard -- moderately geared and well merited, able to sub /blm (being a dedicated BRD is ideal)
- Corsair -- well geared and merited
- Ranger -- well geared and merited
- Summoner -- moderately geared and merited
- Samurai -- well geared and merited
- Dark Knight -- well geared and merited with a zerging gear setup or working towards building one

* Any jobs that have a high throwing skill are of particular interest to this linkshell for future events.
