Does this addon have click casting? Cause I've read through everything on the site and couldn't find it anywhere. Everyone always tells me that Grid is >>>>>>>>> Healbot but without click casting it's not even close.

It doesn't, the combo is usually grid+clique.
healbot >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> grid imo
nah, they all have about the same functionality, just that grid is a lot more customizable and thus takes a lot more work to get it "just right".
Grid+clique made pally healing in tbc for me a joke. Whack a mole.
Great addon, makes raid healing a breeze.
what can grid do that healbot can't?
I'm asking this because I've considered trying it but it doesn't seem worth the effort just to find out if it's even any better.
Grid properly does the malygos phase3 now, not sure if Healbot does that yet.
I'm sure Healbot isn't far behind on that respect, maly phase3 is really fucking annoying without a healing addon. I still use an old grid so I am accustomed to using blizz raid frames for it; maly25 phase 3 is a huge headache.
The overall capabilities of the two are really quite similar. The main difference is the distribution philosophy--Healbot does everything out-of-the-box, whereas Grid gives you a very minimal shell and it is up to you to find, install, and configure submodules to how you like.
Xperl handles Maly phase 3 fine as well, it's just a tad annoying as all 25 dragons show up where the pet bar is so it's not off to the edge of the screen...but it's not a big deal for the 2ish min of phase 3.
Most of the good healers I know emphasize Grid + Clique, I prefer Xperl but that's mostly for my paladin as a tank and it gives me what I need to know in a better cosmetic appearance imo.
One interesting perspective that I've heard recently is that druid healers prefer Grid because of the way it displays HoT effects.
On my grid, I actively use 8 indicators around the border, a center indicator, a border color, center text, and of course the "life bar" effect.
Of the 9 main indicator slots 3 slots are dedicated to my 3 major hots, and the center icon shows WG. Knowing the status of these HoTs -- and which ones are mine, and which are from other druids -- is main task, as a druid. Another 2 slots are dedicated to the presence of poison/curse, and another slot is dedicated to debilitating effects that I cannot mend, but need to be aware of -- things like disease and magic debuffs go here.
This is a lot of information that needs to be presented in a very compact way. Grid does a really good job of laying out this data--I can look at my grid layout and know instantly everything I, as a druid, need to know about the raid status.
I'm not sure that Healbot is as well tuned for this kind of work. Perhaps it is built with a different type of healer in mind, and is better at displaying information that isn't as relevant to me as a druid.
Can I see some pictures of Grid in action Aurik? I sometimes get stuck healing as a Druid and it annoys me finding timers on HoTs.

I use ElkBuffBars to capture the HoT info for my current target immediately above Grid. I'm thinking of switching to Grid extensions to display time-remaining on grid itself.
Really cool site thanks, Got most of it configured but for some reason, only my frame on Grid is highligted/bolded.
Aurik, what addon are you using for party and target frames?
Yea, AGUF, but I'm thinking of replacing them with something smaller
some unasked for advice:
1. drop party frames
2. make grid bigger so it's easier to clique it+ configure it to change depending on the type of party/raid joined
3. bring your player/target/focusframes closer to grid+cooldowns, preferably near your actual character to localize your focus so you can use peripheral vision to react better to environmental changes
I prefer blizzard's buff icons mainly because I feel elkbuffbars consumes more space(if you can memorize acronyms for buffs you can memorize icons), and just use the mod DoTimer to keep track of my cooldowns and dots/hots on targets.
Yea no shit that was unasked for.
1) I still use party frames for party operations, such as uninviting retards. But I'm thinking of making them smaller since I really don't watch them during fights.
2) My grid is big enough, thanks. I do great in 5, 10, and 25 mans with that size. Just because you're used to fisher price buttons doesn't mean everyone is.
3) My target is indicated on grid--guess you didn't notice that! I don't use the actual AGUF target frame while healing--it's used for actually attacking, which resto druids don't do much of because all offense spells drop shapeshift form.
I really don't have a problem standing in poop.
It's great that you prefer memorizing ambiguous icons to natural mnemonics. I don't. File that under "different people like different things". I like Elkano because the abbreviations are natural mnemonics, and the bar countdown is way better than default buff icons.
But thanks for the shitty unsolicited advice!
