+1 for win.
Thanks for this!
The only thing that could make this better is an option to install the edited in-game maps.
Silent login is so awesome. Thanks everyone who worked on this. I love the windower community.
Ill be making a seperate installer for that eventually, along with sean's map pack. The only thing that could make this better is an option to install the edited in-game maps.
I don't have any extra files O.o? Maybe thats from something else you did lol.It works and everything, but I now have all the extra files in my ROM 0 folder. I'm not sure if its suppose to be like that. xP. It doesn't bother me that much, was just wonderin about it is all.
If this is advanced worthy, then move it for me
Anyways, 1.03 out
1.03: Fixed french support (oops sorry emiko!), Added blips FF12 Menu sounds, added Solid Black (Red Border) BG, Fixed backgrounds not remembering last installed name text like others do.

thanks so much
awesome stuff
wow, i asked blip to make a menu sound pack from tetra master files and he did, and omg these are fucking hot
http://ffxi.us.to/FFXiUIMod.exe 1.04
Get the new tetra master menu sounds
Does that sound pack have replacements for the quest complete and level up? I didn't like the ones that were modded of it before. Also does this have a sound for tabbing, blips older version didn't have any.
Now if only I could get sound to work in my FFXI I might try it. >.>
This is fucking sexy. It's worth the download just for removing the god-awful login music alone. Question though: Has anyone made a no-button version of FFXIStyle's GUI? I don't really like the TM cursor since it sort of goes against the entire idea of simplicity and it just... keeps spinning... Also, how can I remove POL's music so I don't have to mute my speakers everytime I login?
You can remove POL's music by shutting off the music in the POL Options menu. The one actually in POL, though there might be a mute sound option in the registry, I'm not sure.
You can disable music as you said by going to menu > settings in POL once logged in. But this only disables the music once logged in.
To remove the audio at launch (when you see your accounts listed). This song file (named dolphin) must be renamed to something else in your files or deleted.
Only then will you have a 100% silent POL login.
Not to my knowledge. In the past two weeks I've modded three friends systems that way with no type of "auto dat fixer" popping up on play.
edit: you can do the same thing too with city music, character selection screen marches, etc. just fine. never, ever had that issue unless I manually scanned my files to finds problems with my dats.
