Enhances & Augments

What are the different factors among the 2 above mentioned terms?

The way i thought, and i could be wrong is

Enhancements increases the effectiveness the job ability/trait already grants. such as extending duration or for Killer Traits/Double.Triple Attack increasing the Activation%.

Augment Adds something new to the job ability that it didn't do before, Like 30% Damage > MP on Valor Surcoat when using Cover.


I could be wrong though.

You would think that, but it sometimes is and sometimes isn't. They did not do a good job with this word usage as some items such as Pup AF feet (adds erase effect to repair) still says "enhance" while some "augments shield bash" items are simply standard "shield bash +#" enhancement.

You should be right, but SE screwed up implementing the change.
