Yeah dump rune tap now. If you want to maximize dps you dont want any abilities like that, pure dps talents onry. Let the healers do their job. (finding good healers on the other hand, is a whole other thing).

Hmmm... I'm so confused. I was in a heroic with a guy with subpar DPS gear and he was out DPSing me as the same talent, so I asked him where he got his info at and I followed it. 3.1 Frost 2h DPS, Everything Explained - Death Knight - Wowhead Forums is the thread he pointed me to.
IT > OB > blood tap+OB > BS > OB > FS is pretty much my rotation, I ditched rune tap for the other thing.. Am I just doing it wrong?
Obliterate is dependent on your other diseases. You need to get those up first every time.
That Frost guide is a bit out of date. An up to date and more comprehensive guide can be found here:

Ah! Thanks!
Got Aesir's Edge tonight but can't decide what to do with it. I could easily throw my JC Stam gem in the Red slot and a Solid Sky in the blue for a cool +65 stamina. In addition to the bonus stam it provides with relation to the Inevitable Defeat, I'd end up with +1k HP. This would leave me at about 34.5k unbuffed in my stamina tanking gear which would be really nice, not to mention it'd increase my TPS.
On the other hand, I'm tempted to simply gem it with STR gems and use it for my DPS spec and just keep using the Inevitable Defeat for tanking since it provides expertise which is great and agility for dodge. The only drawback being that while my DPS spec would have a sick weapon, I'd still only have 33.5k HP unbuffed. Also, if I used it for DPS I think I'd need to consider trying to gear myself for Blood or Frost since I'm starting to collect more armor penetration gear and the sword is nearly BiS for Blood and Frost atm.
Gem the sword for dps. You shouldn't have any problems with threat atm anyways.
The bonus to threat would just be that, a bonus, to threat. My main reason for using the sword as a tank would be for the ability to gem it for Stam and get an extra 1k HP bringing me to 34.5k unbuffed which would be a pretty nice number, I think. I'm currently leaning towards gemming it for DPS though considering it'd be nice for PVP also.
The sword is too good to not use for dps. Of course, you could be super min/max and just regem the sword as needed...
