Been having random DC's on Optimum Online the past few days, everything else works fine though.... bleh.

Sometimes it'll just be a punt off the game but the last two days have been some 10 min kickoffs before i could log back in.

I also live in NE columbus and lost my connection about the same time. I have had insight for close to 3 years now and really have had next to no prolonged interruptions other than scheduled maintenance, so i figured that's what it was.

Thanks for checking it out Kimiko.

The weird DC's happen to me as well, and a few friends which are UK/EU.
Everything is fine with any other site or online app, but PoL just gives out 0011 error, which makes no sense.

Two non-US members of my LS has this problem. DC, then couldn't get back on for 10-15 minutes.

Optimum Online user here as well. I would R0 after a few minutes, and wouldn't be able to log on for a good 15-20 or so. The past few days have been stable though.

I'm an AT&T DSL user with 3.0 Mbps/512 kbps line.

The past two weeks I've lost connection in FFXI at random.

This is with and without torrents on. All other programs remain connected-- MSN, AIM, Skype, ICQ, Firefox. It's just FFXI losing connection to the server.

So far I've counted five times in the last two weeks.

I've never changed my router settings in two years and it's using DD-WRT v24 SP1 firmware. It has all the correct ports forwarded and correct QoS settings that never gave me problems before. Router is WHR-G54S from Buffalo. I also use OpenDNS for the past year or so already. It's worked out more reliably than AT&T's DNS servers. (I've had a shouting match with AT&T's tech at their main office in Los Angeles over the phone as to why their DNS servers were failing continuously for 3 months. That's when I switched to OpenDNS when I found out about it.)

I'll be in FFXI and the next minute offline. And, this happens either in crowded or non-crowded areas.

I'm not sure what's going on.

I had trouble logging in today, once in I kept getting R0. I know others that also has the problem. So it's in Europe and Japan. Could be server side.

hay same thing happened to me. AT&t dsl etc keep getting random fucking d/cs it's annoying as shit and I can't figure out why. I had one time I just completely d/cd off ff right after znm and took 40 mins to get back too but firefox aim etc all work -_-.

Edit: right no torrents and shit running either

I got disconnected running through Castle Oz (S) - which in the list of places you want to disconnect randomly is not in the top ten. Took me ages to get back on and took about an hour and a half of trying to get my mule back on as well.

Mule disconnected about 10 mins after my main, oh's character went at the same time as my main so it's not just a flat net dropping out thing. Avoiding loging out to pay for the mini-expansion thing in case I struggle to get back in.

Been having retarded connection problems today too - yet again, looks like it's a UK-based issue.
