Gimp/Confused/WTF Player Thread IX: Real gimps, and then what Zero Serenity posts

I should've screenshotted the conversation we had whenever he was shouting for Nyzul80 and needed DDs so I said I'd go SAM, and they said SAM/NIN only. (My account is relatively new [December] and I was in a rush to get SAM75 for events and whatnot and don't have all subs levelled yet) What proceeded afterward was them explaining to me that only SAM/NIN can do Nyzul, and that they have every job in the game at 37. Of course they then posted the chatlog of everyone (including the SAM/NIN they got instead of me) dying to... Hydra? before it died and they won whatever they wanted.

I laughed from a good healthy place.

I seen a lot of gimp players in my time, but this guy just takes the cake. My party was rollin in some great exp at mid birds and we needed to rep a DD, figured a Drg would be the best fit. Out of the ones lfg, this JP was the only one that had angon so I was hoping for a bit more of quality. He even changed to sam sub when I asked him!

At first he had Star Necklace on and maybe another MP piece or two. After a couple fights I realized that he wasn't going to be changing equip, so I decided to ask him about it. After asking to change to DD equip he nodded and said he understood. And then I check him and the Star Necklace had changed to a Parrying Torque. And that was mostly it. Now that just takes the piss.

Would have repped him kindly but we ended up disbanding anyway

That dude is in my ls, really skilled and nice guy too. He is neither gimp nor confused, you should know when your rushing to HNMs that just pop etc. mistakes can be made, if you we're on a different job prior to rushing your gear on to get there before you lose the hold. Give it a break, look at his other gear, do you honestly fucking think he doesn't know how to dress a brd? Gtfo.
