DRK/RDM in one of those pictures (Wizard's Mantle) Fulltimed Everything, including the Darksday Obi, i mean FULL TIME, Melee, WS. Quoted saying "/NIN is overrated", Guillotine never broke 600 DMG, on any of the Nyzul mobs. This one actually sent me over the edge, i just thank god i wasn't in the party with them, Watched my brother climb nyzul with them and i walked to Nyzul just to take pictures when he was done, i wish i could have caught the party chat.

I have seen one too many WARs and NINs like that idiot waste a good piece of gear, and show everyone else how retarded the FFXI populace can really be. It really makes me rage when people like that get shit when all they do is abuse it.

looking at his title, i'd say hit equips were a poor ballista build.

drk/rdm is a good combo in ballista, but i think he's not quite doing it right.

Yeah I had a Black Belt when my monk was only 37 which honestly didn't take long to hit 75.

Byakko's Haidate was sort of me stopping WAR at 8k to 75 and then later that week I farmed 8 Byakko pop sets in 3 days. Popped em all and only 3/8 of the total pops dropped Kitteh Pants. :/

EDIT: It's also more of a WTF thing. As in WTF is with using a +2 MND ring when you're using a neckpiece that gives -6 MND? And why use a Bone Earring +1 and Mythril Earring when they almost cancel each other out?

I've pretty much decided that I will never get haidate, no matter how many melee jobs I get to 75, because that is my luck for levelling Bard before Melee jobs, and any idiot melee who has spent less on his gear 1-75 than I did on my snip+1 will bitch that a 75 brd will get them first.

lol. You're talking incredibly lowly of your own LS there, aren't you? Haidate is extremely easy to get compared to other things like Salvage gear, etc.. It's not the difficult to get one or two pop sets a day and gather friends to kill them with you. Takes like a week at most to get a Haidate doing this. Also you might want to try actually getting a job close to the level you can use the equipment before complaining that you'll never get it >.>

I had a sky shell that would regularly get 2 full god sets every time we went to farm.

Lots of experienced members re-cycling through to get gear for new jobs helped though.

I regularly use haidate on my bard. I fulltime it for merits (anywhere else I have AF+1 pants on most of the time..) and I macro it in for erase and finale.

But yeah, if bard is your only 75 that can use it... that's up to the leader I guess. Haidate can be a pain to get, make no mistake, but different people just have luck with different stuff; I went 1/1 on nadrs, shaman's cloak, moldavite earring, and save the queen (got it during the time I was camping shaman's and waiting for repops) in the course of two hours, but it took me two sky shells to get haidate (I was in the first one for some time, but left for other reasons >_>). It took me over 30 kills for ochimusha kote and 1 kill for bandomusha kote... game's fucked up.

So, if someone says "oh, I went 1/1 on all my black belt items", sure I'll rage like a motherfucker. But odds are that same person has their own personal demon, in the form of drops... or not. Some of you fuckers are just born lucky!
