Uhhh, I hate /thf in merit parties/etc on Sam, but I'm sorry, I have -never- seen a pug paladin or ninja that can hold hate in an exp party (and for that matter, even good paladins can't hold it vs any DD that is well geared using food and going all out). /war if you're going without a paladin and melee burning.../thf if you're going with a paladin (I've been leveling my mnk with /thf because I just end up tanking the entire time otherwise.)

Knowing you can willingly change these body pieces, why wouldn't you actually try something different instead of getting what everyone else is?

I know I'm going to get the WAR/PLD body piece just for looks, couldn't really care what stats it has on it.

Well, no SS yet, but soemone I know got Macc+4 and Fast Cast on the mage body for their RDM and WHM >.>.

They have NIN, SMN and DNC as their other 75s.

Acc 10 STP 4, Ecph, Rajas, Brutal = 6 hit with hands/feet of your choice.

-1 Acc from NQ Sniper (or -4 Att from Ulth), +3% Haste for hands or feet, whichever Hachi piece you used.

Going from fresh 75 Sam and working up, that would probably fit under Usu feet/body type builds, above hauby/hachi/1 haste piece builds, and it's obviously superior to lolkorazin since 10 Acc 5 Dex >>>>>>>>>>>>>> 12 Att 2% DA.

Acc 10 DA 2 makes me even sadder about Korazins, because now I suspect all those fucking morons might seriously be trying to justify it because of the DA.

Paraso on Carby, used Amir body forever. Has Acc 10/FC Coselete on his Drk.

I expected to see a lot of people put DA 2% on a body piece, it's the askar corazzin effect; Lots of people think 2% DA is what make askar corazzin a good (but situational) piece! that said i think acc +10 da+2% is better than NQ hauby. Come to think of it, he probably doesn't have rajas? Or he probaly didn't think that putting stp on body would allow him to free feet and hands from hachimam, and keep 6-hit, as long as he puts 2-3 more stp in his ws gear. That's a nice alternative for people w/o usukane.

I expect to see those kind of set ups with THF NIN and other dual wield jobs, who will make a body almost as good as homam corazza (STR5 DEX5 AGI5 acc 10 DA2%), when actually acc 10 delay -3% will beat any existing options for meat THF and NIN.

I subbed /Thf on numerous occasions to save my ass from getting decked. SE+TE wasn't reliable enough to last 50-75% of a fight (shitty tanks ftw)

no real tank need a dd/thf in a merit pt to keep hate. If they suck then sub ninja, or kick the tank, have all DDs sub nin and do it merit style even at level 55... Hell I did all those levels as sam/war and tanked fulltimeing seigan.

PLD and NINs are a waste of time for tanks, get a polearm SAM and have him fulltime seigan on birds np

I definitely prefer melee burn...but sometimes I'm seeking and not putting the party together, and I get to go to a paladin party, and I'd rather /thf and make the paladin tank than end up tanking myself and go through 5 stacks of sushi.

Also, if you have a "real tank" that is holding hate, then all your DD suck. Tank can hold one fine with Sentinel, that's about it...DD should be able to easily pull it off any tank without sentinel or a TA if they have any decent gear/half a brain.
