First rule is : Never believe an online friend who pretends he has a solid information about something, when he most likely has no clue about it and how it's working.

In this thread, it translates as : Servers are sirius business, 16 years-old mmorpg players don't know shit about these.

Second rule is : Never believe an online friend who pretends he has a solid inside information about something related to a multi-million dollar company, when there is no way he could have got the information from people who know shit about it.

In this thread, it translates as : S-E tech teams have no reason to tell a random 16 years old guy that a server (which is most likely the combination of many physical servers anyway) is "labelled unstable".

you dont have a connection issue because of hardware problems you have connection issues because the software has a limit of how many people can login to a world at one time.

I can tell you this. Not every NM is camped, not every mob is farmed and there are TON's of good XP/merit places.

You just need to get out of your box.

Hmm... I never knew I went 4 years back in time in just a couple of days
because I could have sworn I was 20, and that I was curious about if
anyone else heard anything about this or if it held to be true, then again
I did come to BGLS forums, the one place known for snarky bastards to

When server machines need replacing, they get replaced. Otherwise, I think things would have ceased to function a long time ago.

Probably any of the activities and areas that suffer from a dearth of players, like lower-level missions, obscure group-focused quests, or waiting facedown for a raise in an underpopulated zone.

Also, a liquid and well-stocked set of AH's. There are always some dead items with no AH movement across all the servers, but on the less populated servers it's worse -- once an item's market collapses, there's a vicious cycle that keeps it from ever starting up again -- infrequent buyers means no reason to pay AH fees to put something up. No supply means people stop checking to see if it's available.
