lol, I just don't get the obsession with it, Facebook has legitimate social networking uses, but Twitter is so pointless as witnessed by the ppl using it during Obama's last speech. I have no idea if you are immune to the cancer bit as I do not know if Twitter is as prevalent among the most banal ppl in Australia as it is here.

I find it odd, that people find a reason to be negatively vocal about another person's internet practices. Twitter harms you? Seriously? Facebook impedes your life? Really? Raging at social networking is like raging at people who go to clubs. There is no reason to and it makes no sense.

I think that social network sites are having a large negative impact on society as a whole. At least in a club you are forced to socialize face to face. It's completely different.
