sounds like she needs to learn how to txt and talk at the same time. I don't txt constantly, but if I get a txt I usually respond to it, but if I'm in the middle of a conversation, it doesn't stop me from continueing to talk.

Makes sense, as I understand it, an important reason for lent is to teach self-discipline and perspective as to what's actually important and giving up something that you consider so OMGIMPORTANT that really isn't would be a good way of doing that.

Second, the kind of kids who would really benefit from a 40-day break from texting would never go 40 days without texting.
