I rarely go to the mall but found myself there this weekend with the gf in town. We were at the prudential center/copley mall in boston, which is right next to the hynes convention center that often has conventions. It must be really often because I go to this mall maybe three times a year if that and on several occasions have seen ff7 and star wars characters walking around in huge numbers. Well, this weekend this small group of teenagers walk in wearing full naruto costumes. They jumped around and shit and acted like they were fighting at times, like little douche teenagers do at times. This was one of the more random and interesting weirdo groups I have seen.

was gonna guess it must've been the weekend they have that annual anime con in boston but i think thats usually later in the year. thinking back a couple years though, i remember seeing a similar group of kids all decked out in naruto gear doing the same shit, weren't in full costume though. also this was in worcester. maybe it's the same kids, moving on to bigger and better things? copley sure is a step or three up from greendale, lol.

Goths died in the 90's, as far as I'm concerned, when all the Goths got into their late 20's and 30's and shit.

All the ones I've met loved the term Gothabees, because these kids are wannabe goths, which is just retarded.

another person without a clear definition of the word ironic is equally as, what you would probably call, ironic. i like the beer, i dont care if that funny guido depicts it as being a douche favorite. i dont tan, wear headbands, pop collars, wear flamboyant polos, make kissy faces in pictures, and have shaved my own head for years now thus dont care about ridiculous gelled and lined up styles.

However, I do see a lot of those individuals as well at my local mall, just walking up and down strutting, not shopping at all, waiting for their moms to pick them up.
