17% TP per hit is what you get. You need somewhere around 46 STP I believe for a weapon with the delay of hagun to have a 6 hit. 25 trait, +10 from merits, 5 rajas, 1 brutal and 5 from hachiman feet. I believe this is the correct build?

Good thing tredecim scythe has a 528 delay. Rajas alone is enough for 6 hit

If you don't have any STP merits you're +7STP (+2 if you were to switch to hachi feet) short of 6-hit. Ethereal is just fine.

Been thinking about making the body piece from CP into:

HP+20 DEX+5 STR+5 VIT+5
Accuracy+10 "Store TP"+4 "Subtle Blow"+4

and then dropping spectacles for ChivChain and therefore maintaining 18% haste [while only dropping 2 accuracy] and a 6-hit (once merits are capped; Currently I'm @3/5 with 3 merits unspent).

And yea, one of the reasons I've recently fell in love with Tomoe is that I have a 6-hit with just Rajas+Brutal+3 merits and Penta actually makes use of the 800 attack I have when meritting.

Accuracy+3(.75) from Minuet will outperform 5 attack for 30k ish.

Moreover, if you're really in desperate need of that accuracy, you're either doing it wrong or (no GK merits) you should be using acc food, be it pizza or crab sushi for birds.

I'm not asking you do to do anything, I wasn't even talking about you? And please god, everyone needs to stop with the I LACK INVENTORY SO MUCH. You lack inventory because you levelled 8 goddamn jobs. If you're willing to give up an earring slot and use something almost completely worthless instead, by all means go ahead. I don't know if he had full GKT merits, but I gave him the benefit of the doubt. Parsing at 85% accuracy on birds = Get more accuracy. I tell you how to get a couple accuracy for very minimal gil, and it's just not worth it? The fuck forums are you on.

Birds is pretty much the LEAST evasive thing you're going to be meritting on or fighting, so yea I thought it'd be a nice baseline. Maybe you didn't know this, but if you miss, all that attack is worthless.

I totally skipped your post dawg. Accuracy would probably be better than STR/DEX+4... Maybe once I get CP and the sTP body and downgrade to Chiv Chain, I can use it for Penta. Acc+5 STR+3 should be just fine I think. I just can't see myself getting a Shadow Gorget for 1 WS that I'll only use while meritting or in 50caps (where the gorget wouldn't do shit anyway). If it was any other Gorget (that didn't require 2 Yovras), I'd totally consider it

I'm no sam so dont hate on me, but why is 6-hit so important? Isn't meditate there for a reason? Also wouldnt haste be better since you can attack faster therefore getting TP faster>.>?

Going from 7 hits to 6 means getting 100 tp almost 17% faster, and you can do it with only 1 piece of less-than-perfect-gear (hachiman hands or feet, assuming no usu feet). It's way better than 3% haste or something. And meditate is once every 2.5 mins (more if not merited), the other 2 mins it's not ticking you still need tp as fast as possible for WS spam to keep up.

If you're using a soboro it's different, since it 2x or 3x hits so often that a 6-hit build will get you over 100 tp most of the time anyway. The extra swings waste it, so haste can be better than a 6hit there since you still get to 100tp at about the same rate, and WS damage matters less.
