So this morning my fiancee woke me up before he left for work to tell me he saw a bubble on one of our pet rats, Nene. I still think it's just an abscess, but I do know rats get tumors easily, so took her to the vet just incase. The vet said in one side it seemed softer than a tumor, but a part seemed harder than an abscess, so after thinking and talking it over, my fiancee and I decided to have it removed...for 360$ -.-; (normally it would have been 520$, but the vet took off the pet care bill, and the diagnosis bill). It's fine, I expected it after having so many cats, but srly sometimes I wish she'd know just what I am doing for her XD Also, she totally ran up me at the vet and pooped in my hair -.-;;;;;;
Anyways, more importantly, when I was in the waiting room I started to read one of those cat magazines. There was an article about Pet CC that offer no interest. Basically, you can only use the card for vet bills, and depending on the price you can have a certain period of time to pay it off without interest. Linkie:
Why Use CareCredit® Veterinary Financing? (Payment Plans for Pet Vaccinations, Pet Surgery, Tests & Affordable Veterinary Medicine Procedures)
Just wondering, this seems like a too good to be true situation. And I'm trying to find the loopholes (aside from high interest after the no interest months). Also, they keep calling it the "promo" period, which suggests to me that maybe this only works the first time you use it?
Someone help me figure out whether this would be a good thing to get or not considering even after my rats pass on, I will always have pets.
