All joking aside, I really don't mind too much. I don't know the details about everything in the story
To anyone that has finished the game or has a good amount of playtime in, I've a few questions.
Story wise, how does it rate without getting into any plot points. RE4 was good, but it just dragged on too long, and there wasn't nearly enough Wesker. Just from looking at the trailers it seems different this time around. It definitely seems to cater to the long time fans of the series.
I heard the total time to beat the game takes around 10-12 hours, which is much shorter than RE4, but RE4 was about 25-30 hours if you take your time, and again there were parts of that game that just went on entirely too long. From what I've read in reviews, if you change difficulty to the harder setting (normal is too easy for vets) the game takes a bit longer.
Anything else you can add to your own personal reviews?
Also on the curious side, can u let us know if there are any bonuses after beating the game to prolong the life? If you spoiler it, let me know which to click so I don't click on storyline spoilers D:
Wait what? 25 hours for RE4? What the hell...? I'm pretty sure it doesn't take that long to finish RE4, unless you're going in super slow mode.
Uh I just played through it again this week. I like to explore and find everything, and I'm no novice. It took me about 21 hours. RE4 was a pretty lengthy game. First the whole town, then the castle, then the other island. I didn't really have any idle time either, with very few deaths. If you skip all the CS's and just run through then yeah it's significantly shorter, but if you investigate everything it's decently long, almost too long for a RE title.
pretty short game..first time around took like 9 hrs to beat on easy, then we went through it again on medium and beat it really fast, not sure what the time exactly was, but we unlocked the infinite rocket launcher that you gotta beat it in less than 5 hrs to get. veteran doesn't seem to be too much harder, but professional(unlocked from beating veteran) is really hard
Happy Resident Evil 5 release week!
Toys R Us is having a deal for 360 and PS3 if you buy RE5 on Friday/Saturday they'll give you a $20 gift card. That is, if you can wait that long.
I can. Having too much fun with KZ2 at the moment.
game comes out friday
Negative, Friday the 13th. Not the usual Tuesday release. Now the question is will it be shipped Friday, or available in stores Friday?
I've got it pre-ordered but I couldn't convince any of my buddies to buy it after they all played the demo... not looking forward to it as much now.![]()
I should be alright Gamestop is up the road and I'm expecting the automated midnight release date message to hit my cell sometime this week. Not like I would actually go, fuck that. I'm sleeping, I'll pick it up the next morning lol.
Just picked up my copy(PS3) there's a 5GB install that took a little less than 10 minutes.
