Neither of the friends I tried to swindle have played RE4, so their main issue was being unable to fire while moving. Too used to other FPS'.

yea i tried out the single player, sheva's a fucking moron. I'm almost done w/ the game (final chapter) having wayyy too much fun doing co-op w/ my gf. The game completely promotes co-op play.

As far as the release is concerned, my Best buy store already has the RE5 360s and the games in the warehouse w/ the box corresponding the release date. So yes the game should be out on friday first thing. I would guess ALL best buys have it by now.

Our GameStop isn't doing a midnight, but it's street dated, so it should arrive before the 13th.

Sadly Idon't really have much of a choice, the people I'm going to play with don't get their copies until it officially comes out on Friday.
Sheva can be dumb at times, but she's ok for the most part, just don't give her any herbs she goes through them like candy.

PS3 games are all region free. No clue about 360, but I assume if one is region locked they all are.

Nvm. Xbox360 Regional Compatibility Guide found my answer there, all RE5 versions are not region protected.

I was really looking foward to playing this co-op online on my first playthrough but the two friends I was depending on both their 60GB PS3's bricked within a week of eachother because they both bought them on launch date from the same shipment. The rest of my friends are playing on 360, if anyone else wants to play co-op on PS3 just hit me up.

I really hope this isn't true. It's only $4, but the principle of releasing paid DLC only a week or so after the game ships is so stupid.

What I don't get is... why is the 360 version 1080p (when it doesnt support it natively) and the PS3 box says 720p. Was all excited to get the PS3 version until i read that on the box, but now gonna get it for 360.
Anybody know if PS3 version supports true 7.1?

Picking up my copy at midnight, have the collectors edition paid for in full. Anyone here who works at gamestop can tell me if a college ID is fine for pickup(I have the receipt too) since idk how but I lost my ID somewhere blargh.
