Yeah I have a friend that is OBSESSED with Ben. She found a recording from some live show they did and they played it. I have no idea at all where she got it from. At the end of the track though he says "how 'bout some fuckin' Tool", but sadly she didn't have whatever that cover was. I'm sure it was awesome though. Their take on Enjoy the Silence was amazing.

I was curious and found some Tool covers from them on youtube that don't really sound that great. >.< I did like Enjoy the Silence from them though, they are still an awesome band.

When I saw this topic, I was actually thinking about posting the Seether cover of Careless Whisper, but that was already in the first post lol. It is played a lot on a radio station I listen to, awesome song.

Nonpoint also did a cover of Phil Collin's In the Air Tonight that's pretty good. Killswitch Engage's cover of Holy Diver I think is awesome, but a lot of people I know prefer Dio's original version.

Nonpoint made that song awesome, Framing Hanley made lollipop awesome- gogo rise of the emo man-boy bands. Also yeah, Dio has one of the best voices for metal ever but howard and the band did an incredible job.

I love the two covers Volbeat have done, I have to admit that I didn't know the originals beforehand, but in my opinion the covers are by far superior:

Ya, I think Howard Jones had a sick voice and did an amazing job on Holy Diver. IMO he has one of the best voices in metal.

And you can HEAR the band not taking themselves seriously, almost as evident as it is watching them laugh in the music video. They were just having fun =)

His voice was great for it, and the trademark Killswitch guitar squeel fits in perfectly in the song. I dont know what else to call it, I'm a turntablist, not a guitarist, but its when the guitarist pulls a note and sustains it with a high pitched squeel that makes me happy.
