I've been playing this for about 1.5 hours now, and something just doesn't feel right about this game. It's definitely not bad... I can't quite put my finger on it. The first game sucked me in immediately, whereas this game is just kinda... eh so far. I'm sure it'll end up being good, but right now just doesn't have me hooked. Also the graphics aren't as good as the first game, which is weird cause the game is damn near 3 years old.

it does have a different feel to it, but how could it not?
The 1st game you started not knowing anything. everything was a mystery and a surprise. The Big Daddies as enemies were pretty intimidating, and the little sisters were just creepy.
But now, we know just about everything. what Rapture is and how it came to be is no longer a mystery. And now we play as one of those big intimidating Big Daddies, the creepy little sisters arent as creepy now after playing through the 1st game, and the Big Sisters just dont feel as dangerous/scary

got the Special Edition in the mail today, it's pretty cool. 164pg hardcover art book, 3 vintage style prints of Rapture advertisements, a cd with with orchestral score of Bio2, & a lp (vinyl record) of Bio1's orchestral score. just popped the game, been looking forward to return to Rapture.

So far Im really enjoying the game, the story is pretty good as well. The escort isnt lame like I figured it might be, I just killed my first big sister and their pretty crazy. So far, Im loving it, I havent really noticed any difference in graphics as others have said, looks pretty much the same to me and I love the new look of the little sisters.

Really enjoying this also. I hate that some of the lore and amazement of being in Rapture for the first time is gone (which is obviously expected), but its a place that I think I could possibly be ok going back to 1 more time after this game is done.

I thought the escort would be different as well, I like how it turned out though. Well, that and hearing trap rivets go off constantly made me laugh.

To add to the escort comment, I really like how it changes up the game play, and you arent required to do it if you dont want to,you have an option.

Also to add, some of the ammo they added is pretty sweet, I love the heavy rivets. Happy to see the shotgun back as well.
