I'm pretty sure Daft Punk and Kanye collaborated on that song, so not really stealing...I know both of the guys were in the music video

1) Daft Punk doing the Tron 2 music = awesome.

2) Daft Punk samples. Stronger sampled from Daft Punk, but he gave credit- and sampling is a strong influence in that line of music. That it did so well indicates that he was building from good material, which in turn only reflects well on Daft Punk for providing it.

3) Tron is the "birth" of CGI in movies, and even though it's Disney, isn't "Disney" per se. Rent it some time and realize at the time, it was cutting-edge SFX- and Tron 2 will probably make it look like Atari 2600 graphics.

lol before I posted this I told my wife when I saw it. She was just like "Oh cool, what's Tron?" And she's only two years younger than me ; ; ( 28 and 26 )

But at least this will get people to watch it in anticipation of the second one, as the second is supposed to be a direct sequel not a remake. Pretty clever imo since they'll make collateral sales of the DVD and probably will release a special edition version a few months before with all kinds of extras.
