"Tiny Toons Adventures" PS2 by Treasure - Released

Those of you familiar with Treasure may have researched their history, and in doing so, discovered the tragic cancellation of a title known as "Tiny Toon Adventures: Defenders of the Universe." It could've been one of the last 90's cartoon-based greats, and would've kept up the quality that the franchise's previous gaming entries were known for.

All that "could've," "would've" -- nevermind it. Now it can. Amazingly, the game has been leaked after years of being "lost," and it's full of the excellent gameplay Treasure's most famous for.

For those of you waiting for the punchline, there isn't one. If you have a modded PS2, grab this and give it a whirl. The voice acting is superb (complete original cast), there's plenty of depth, and it seems to be 100% complete.

Finally leaked! Tiny Toon Adventures [PS2 by Treasure] | Unseen 64: Beta, Unreleased & Unseen Videogames!

    Have fun.

Now where can I buy a modded PS2. Watched some videos of it and aside from the abysmal framerate (they played on an emulator) it unsurprisingly looked fun. Weird how this kinda thing gets leaked seemingly out of nowhere after such a long time.

If you have a slimline, you can use household tools with a swap magic to play the Burns.

Mostly because the would-be publisher, Conspiracy Entertainment, had a history of fucking up magnificent opportunities royally. They had the rights to exclusively publish not only "Tiny Toon Adventures" PS2 worldwide, but also the "Phantasy Star" and "Phantasy Star II" PS2 remakes in English, among a variety of other coveted titles. Then they squandered those rights, never releasing any of the games, and going on to release in-house developed stinkers only. They even had one licensed title printed up and stored in warehouses... and never shipped it to stores.

Basically, they took some Japanese companies for a ride.

During all this, they never released the rights to anyone else, ever. Conspiracy is a bunch of fuck ups, one of the worst -- if not the worst -- publishers still doing business in modern day.

Are there any Emulators with decent performance for the PS2? Don't want to carve up my Slim if I can help it.

There aren't any, it's also possible to softmod your playstation and play burned copies of games.
    All you need are:
1)codebreaker/AR max/gameshark with the ability to write files to flash drive
    2)flash drive
    3)PS1 game
    4)Memory Card

I had to buy an AR Max to do it but just look up the independence exploit, shit's easy as fuck to do.

I actually invested in a modded PS2 some years ago and it certainly paid for itself after a few burned games. I still remember the Tiny Toons NES and SNES games from Konami back during the show's heyday. A shame those two Phantasy Star remakes never came out stateside though.

If you have a slim, no "carving" is necessary.

If you have the phat PS2 + the FFXI bundle you pretty much can install ISO to your HDD. However, you need to get swapmagic (about 15-20 bucks). It's kinda pain in the ass if you don't know what you're doing, but well worth it.

Or if you know someone w/ the MC exploit (google), you can ask them to give you a copy to install it in your MC. You won't have to worry about SM or anything else (well maybe a specific game to trigger the ELF):

Don't need swap magic, if you have the things I listed above you don't need to buy anything else to play any game on your PS2.
Cept maybe PS1 games I guess, haven't been able to play burned PS1 games on my fatty yet since I don't feel like buying anything for it. (I mean, that's the whole point of wanting to play burned games, yo.)

I did what Meteora said above for my ps2. Go to psx-scene's forums and then to the Free McBoot sub forum, theres a thread full of people who will mod your memory card for free, you just have to mail them it, and pay for return postage. They will put all the homebrew on your memory card (HD Loader for ps2 iso's, SNES/NES emulator) The whole process took a week, used slow US postal mail. Connected a hdd I had laying around to my ps2 and now I have an infinite library of ps2 games :D best $3.00 I've ever spent.

The game looks like a decent plat former, I'll try it.

It's a Treasure game, which gets a pass from me no matter how old it is or how uninterested I may be in the licensed IP.

As Correction has said, this is a Treasure game, and it's the spiritual sequel to "Rakugaki Showtime," one of their most beloved (and also hard) titles. The property attached to it doesn't matter, although the majority of "Tiny Toon Adventures" games which were released were coincidentally of quality.

I loved Rakugaki showtime...can you emulate this on the existing ps2 emulators?
