I've learned to not bet with an anteater, they have sharp claws.
They have a very clear sense of self, though.
So do I, but my claws are feeble unless I augment them.
My cats noticed that I could detach my claw (my pocket knife) and were fascinated by it.
I could make it cut things and then put it down.
Cool just hope the Item are worth it but new Area with GIL+EXP sold me
FUCK YOU, I'M A HUMAN BEING!

Hey guys! I heard Behemoth Hides will be in Caskets in the Dominion!
But, in all seriousness, this is so win. FoV makes soloing so much nicer, and even more areas means more chances to avoid shit low level parties.
Also, more Maat's Caps I forsee in the near future. Anything to make that quest easier for people who want it is awesome. Because, in all honestly, if you don't have Maat's Cap, you have not yet established yoself. YOU'VE GOT TO ESTABLISH YOSELF! (Inside joke to some forum users :D)
I am very happy about this.
I find myself hunting Treasure Caskets for lolgear in my spare time when I'm half-afk. I am just glad the inventory clogging I have been submitting myself to might be for some actually decent Lv.60~65 equipment from Valley of Sorrow/Ro Moave/Cape Terrigan/etc. I haven't been leveling a new job in a long time so FoV hasn't interested me much but this whole gil/bs/equip thing sounds like a nice variety instead of just exp.
Woot, gonna lvl PUP and DNC to 75 nao. FoV/Beseiged/Campaign onry.

On topic, this could be pretty win. The big drawback for me was the elite field manual can only be once per Earth day, so drop rates better be good. If not, prepare for adventuring fellow BC-sized lines.
Don't get me wrong, I love that this is happening but I just liked having all of the mandies to myself. haha
I think the Tu'Lia book is a really interesting spot. It might take some drudgery out of sky farming but there is a lot of magic aggro for your standard party to put up with for Gardens pages.
I've been loving FoV lately. In the last week I've been logging in during my lunch hour and soloing 4k a session on COR. Previously, on dancer and dragoon, I was getting even more during these short sessions. More places to go and new rewards is definitely welcome.
I also expect my best friend will be nearly living in sky on his blm again, even though fire crystals don't grant nearly the money they used to.
I think Ringthree is right. FoV is designed for leveling. I'm betting most of the gear obtained will be under level 70. It's not to say there might not be a few gems in the gear that'll be decent at 75 but I bet it's not likely any of it is going to be NMs dropping abjs or byakko haidates.
They better let you use the seals you have stored. I have over 1000 BS on that dude.Originally Posted by oldoldman

It would be totally against the point of making them storable on the NPC if you create a new system that uses them without allowing you to get them back. If they don't add withdrawals, people will have to store Bseals in their safe again.
I have gotten feet alot before by picking the number 21 lol. try picking that number, not sure if those caskets are as random as I originally thought.
and to this.
Those who dare to relinquish equipment, on the other hand, can expect delightful rewards the likes of which have never been seen before on Vana'diel!
They try to make it seem like they are releasing a new AV type monster, but with no exp loss (which would be cool as hell, and no time limit), and to which any LS can pop (don't have to compete to claim it). I like the NM system but I don't think the NMs would be as hard as they say they will.
Then SE goes on to say the rewards are like nothing you ever seen before..
either they meant that they are brand new exclusive new items, or they are trying to fool us into thinking that their will be Mar's rings +1 in there lol.
Chalk it up to SE exaggerations again... or me mis-reading the topic.
Either way, I hope the NMs are hard as hell since they can popped easier now and no exp loss means people will put up a great fight against anything.
I doubt that is going to happen. They have probably picked BS because many people traded them already to the npc, thus "levelling the playing field".
I may be wrong too, but it is probably for the same reason they introduced new points (Tabs) instead of using, let's say, Conquest Points to buy various stuff at manuals.
