Odering dominoes pizza online

I can't stand thin crust pizza or those that cook it so long the bottom may as well be burnt. Just feels like I could get a similar experience from buying a box of crackers, some sauce, cheese, and pepperoni and then throw it all in the microwave for 45 seconds. I dunno, it's like you're not tasting bread with it despite it somehow becoming dominant over the actual toppings, but little flakes of the shit could cut the roof of your mouth if you're unlucky.

That said, the local "go to" place serves the thin type of pizza. I've never really understood the hype and would take Domino's, Papa John's, or Pizza Hut long before. There's also another local chain that does more deep dish style, of which a good taco pizza from there is probably one of the yummiest pizzas you could get, but their name never comes up when someone suggests ordering something.

Had some other independent types here and there while being out of the area, but nothing's truly impressed me. Sure, I could pick out little things like sauces in the spice or toppings, but sometimes it just felt like they weren't cooked right. Will admit, though, the worst pizza I probably ever had was a personal pan meat lovers from the Pizza Hut kiosk near the Excalibur in Vegas. I loved 'em back home, but that one was just wretched on so many levels that I couldn't even finish it.

I love the pizza tracker. I rarely order dominos though. It's mostly a last resort.

I like ordering from Papa Johns online because you can pay for the whole thing including the tip up front. The few times they've screwed up, they've always taken care of it.

Pizza chains never do a good job with thin crust. I mentioned Pizzano's, and god damn is their thin crust amazing, especially when you get the buttercrust.

Ordered Pizza Hut for today for work (celebrating my boss n' my bdays). Their pizza tracker definitely not as intense.

On a random note though, Out in CT there are all-you-can-eat Pizza Huts, and their pizza fucking owns. There's none of those in the San Diego county ;_; and the pizza hut pizza here tastes COMPLETELY different.

Sometimes it is just location and price. While I preferred Papa John's, when I was in college I ate a ton of Dominoes. It was right across the street and there was a special the college students could grab, $4 for a large. Their thin crust was actually pretty good, but the hand-tossed was one greasy motherfucker. The best I've had was from some little places, not big names, in Chicago when I was living there.

dominoes' pizza is mediocre at best but I like their wings and those oven baked sammiches own, and they're the only non vomit-inducing pizza place around me that delivers (Snappy Tomato's is so dusty..)

Dominos sucks. My tiny crap town only has Dominos and Pizza Hut of the bigger franchises out there, and Pizza Hut doesn't deliver anyway.

I like putting in the "extra notes" section for ordering a pizza. I usually put something ridiculous along the lines of, "it's my birthday so sing happy birthday to me." or "knock to a certain jingle."

All pizza huts (Eat in's at least).. still have the buffet, at least in PA and NJ. It's just certain hours. I lived off it at college.. haha.

Most of them are.. Monday through Friday.. 11:00am-1:30pm. And on Wednesday nights from like 5 to 8pm.

I always tip $3(+change to make an even dollar on my bill) for delivery drivers.

If I'm not completely lazy I'll order from Papa Murphy's and bake that shit myself. For $10 I can eat for 3 days, fuck yes.

I recently got a job cooking pizzas at a local restaurant called Old Chicago, one of about sixty of them from around the country, and I gotta say, their pizza is pretty fucking good. It's way better than any of the delivery places we have in shit ass Iowa, and they're only a few dollars more than a large from Pizza Hut. Although we don't deliver, we do take out orders.

Also, being able to make your own pizzas at a 40% discount is the fucking business.

haven't ate there in years so maybe I could give them another chance. Growing up Snappy's was the ~only~ pizza place within 20 miles of here, so if you didn't want frozen that was it. forget who in this thread mentioned the "plate tectonics" of too much sauce not enough cheese but they always had that going on even if you ordered extra cheese light sauce. I'll always have one fond memory of snappys as a little kid tho, after you win a a game and coach orders a beast for everyone lol

Half off when I used to work some pizza joints was pretty nice. Sometimes I'd go in with orders from my family and just leave with 3-4 boxes of misc. stuff on the cheap. Guess I'm one of the weird people that doesn't come to hate the food of a place they've worked at, though.

Papa John's chicken strips are the best fucking things I've ever tasted (pretty expensive to boot, I think it was $15 for two orders)

I'm pretty much required to shell out $12+ daily at work in order to eat because the food within walking distance is absolutely fucking awful.
