All white people look the same.
All white people look the same.
I think overall it was still pretty damn funny compared to last 6-8 episodes
Stan is supposed to be like matt right? Maybe he made stan into mysterion because he liked TDK? Either way this will be discussed until,if, they tell who the person was but kenny was spaced out pretty much the entire episode staring into nothing.
Nah, this way he still stands as a symbol. Of people getting insanely pissed off at the ending and not finding the awesome humor in it.
Letdown.
Damn...while I like it, just for the sheer fact that I get to see many people rage about it. I am also somewhat raging myself.
maybe it's because I only saw the last 8 or so minutes of the episode.. why are people let down by his unmasking? I thought it was funnier this way than if they showed more of their face.
was South Park made fun of by some critic for how everyone's faces look alike recently?
Reminded me of Gundam SEEDs character design. except in SEED's case it's extremely stupid.
I feel like nothing really happened.
Almost like I wasted that 30 minutes of my life, but not quite.
EDIT: Professor Chaos and General Disarray saved the episode I guess. I love Butters.
I was just letdown by the episode, not the unveiling. I saw that coming a mile off ever since the cartman's mom 2 parter. I was just expecting this great comedic payoff the entire time that never came around.
My favorite was the fight scene atop the construction site. The sniper has a clear shot and the officer says "You think bullets can hurt Professor Chaos?"
No one got the obvious "The Spirit' reference? I mean, damn.
Spirit Reference?
You talking about how much this episode sucked?
0/2 this season so far.
Dead show -> ?
think youre all holding your standards for this show way to high. A vast majority of the episodes arent of an epic level of awesomeness, just a couple dozen or so, and you all seem to be holding it to those standards. Just enjoy the fucking show.
so upon rewatching the episode, clyde is sleeping in class while cartman is giving his presentation about the coon.
The show's not dead by any means. This one just wasn't that funny.
Also, I know it was making fun of the Spirit. The music was a parody of the Batman movies and the dialogue was a parody of Spirit. It just had no direction.
The entire episode was just a big conglomeration of all the bigger comic book movies to come out in the past year or so, it had bits of Watchmen, Batman and the Spirit all thrown together.
Because he was bored
While I won't say it was one of their better episodes, it was still just as good as usual, a simple running gag with multiple levels. My only disappointment is how they set up the whole "using Kyle for info" bit but never went anywhere with it. But the ending delivered in it's entirely lack of delivery. The whole episode they set this up...and they sorta made good on their promise, but they still left the viewers feeling screwed over. Which is something that makes South Park special in that sometimes they just enjoy pissing us off.
As usual, Butters was awesome. The epic fight at the end was perfect, and his secret lair was genius. And I loved how Cartman had this detailed, professional looking costume, yet everyone loved the guy running around in PJs with his tighty whities outside of his pants and a blanket wrapped around his head.
P.S. Mysterion is Kevin
