EDIT: Also, although they did that "all of the characters look the same" joke before, I still found that to be funny.

It's more like "It's a good subject, but they could have expanded or acted on it much better" type of disappointment most of the time. Sometimes an episode just flat out sucks. They picked a good subject this week, so I'm expecting some good writing for this (as I have seen in the past with controversial topics).
