Extremely surprised no one has made a thread for this, since Season Two started last night on AMC.

Season One was very impressive, and from the premier of season two last night, the good shows should continue. Anyone else into this series?

DVD and I love this show, got me hooked on it and Mad Men last year... cant wait to see what happens this season

I fucking love how funny this show is, the bell at the end of the episode had me laughing almost to the point of tears, my roommate didn't get why I was laughing either.. and all of Jesse's needless bullshitting that undermined Walter was so great lol

The bell definitely made me smirk.

They did some little intro preview before Season 1 started way back, and talked about taking the time to get good visual shots, and adding those little touches that sometimes people don't notice or think about. Part of the reason I love this show is because I think they really go the extra mile.

I watched all of this show today and I was fucking blown away. I have never pictured Cranston as a serious actor before (only seen him in MitM). Holy shit.

Same here, hell, I watched the show solely because I wanted to see how dark he could be and by the second episode (season 1) I was fucking SOLD. Then he went badass with the fulminated mercury bomb and I knew then this was a show to watch. I haven't started with season 2 yet (I was gonna make a topic) but I'm looking forward to watching it all. It's like a springtime Dexter for me, in terms of quality and general atmosphere/feeling.

When I saw the trailers for season 1 on AMC, I knew he could pull it off, he wasn't serious on Malcolm but you could tell he was an amazing actor who could pull of dark/insanity

Season Two Finale:

At first, at the end of the episode, I thought the pink bear in the pool was supposed to symbolize the fact that the Wife/Daughter were on one of the planes, but after thinking about it some more, I think that they were just using the pink bear as a symbolic reference to Walt. One of those 'look at how far you have fallen' sort of things.

Either way, things will be interesting with the annoying wife gone. My question for season three will be if Walt continues down this bad path by choice, or if his new drug associates force him to do so, because they now know who he is. The delicious irony here is that the reason he bothered to become such a terrible person has vanished. With his family 'gone' now, what will be his motivation?

I also approve of Walt wearing the Goatee. I hope they keep it for his look in season three. I'm sad I have to wait so long for new Episodes, but Burn Notice starts up again on Thursday, so I will just have to deal...

Every season Walt's becomes more and more of a bad ass appearance wise, can't wait to see what change they do next year lol.

I could see Saul Goodman/the Chicken guy forcing Walt/Jesse to cook cause atm it seems neither of them would be for it otherwise, Jesse after just having gotten out of rehab and Walt now that his cancer is gone and family has left him. Alternatively they could have Hank coming closer and closer to finding out who Heisenberg is and Walt having to go further down his dark path to avoid being discovered, or have the Mexican cartels out for blood looking for Heisenberg after he offed Tuco and his meth having popped up everywhere (especially with the Narcocorrido about him being already dead and just not knowing it yet). I kind of thought having all that shit they built up from episode 1 be a plane crash that is only tangentially related to Walt was a bit of a let down, but I could definitely see the symbolism in it.

Also might just be my addiction to Lost's OMFG plot twists/reveals but I've been kind of disappointed by the way some stuff was pretty blatantly hinted at before officially being shown for these last few episodes. Like when the manager walks up to ask Jesse/Walt if everything is okay and then having him be the super distributor cause obviously fast food restaurant managers do that during peak business hours or showing the NTSB van and thus giving away what would happen... would've been a much better imo if they had just showed the opening from last week with the 2 body bags this week or some shit then have the flight control scenes/walt seeing the bear

now nothing on tv and waiting another fucking month for Entourage, ~3 for Curb Your Enthusiasm and 2 for Mad Men

Considering this is a Cable television show, I was very impressed with how they did the camera shots for the plane explosion/falling sequence. The bear hitting the pool so hard made me actually chuckle when just seconds before that I was mortified. Reminded me of Tuco's relative ringing the damn bell after the credits in an earlier episode in Season 2.

I am constantly amazed they can make me smile while being such a dark show.
