when did you start posting on bg bro
Actually WoW handled this pretty well. They made it so trial accounts could not send random tells without a person adding the trial account player to their friend list first. It kinda sucks for legitimate players but they could make it more like how you can only reply too people /telling you (they already have a similar system for GMs.)
AppleInsider | Hackers crack Apple's iTunes gift card algorithm
That's why I'm worried about SE doing this. I really hope they don't fuck it up lol. The people that did this are Chinese hackers. I'm guessing they're the same types of people that steal game accounts.
Assuming this is a supplement, and not a replacement security measure, even if RMT managed to crack it, they still need your real password. Unless SE is _completely retarded_ (possible), they can't make the security any worse with this. I will probably order one, but I want more details before I do.
That being said, what recent music is actually worth paying for?![]()
These keychains are patented and have to be licensed AFAIK.
And I'm pretty sure they're all the "Digipass GO 6."

Awesome, definately nice.
In light of previous posts, I'd like to point out that I *have* in fact moved out of my parents basement.
And I still enjoy owning "stuff". My Shadowlord statue says hi.
That is all.
I think someone already mentioned this before, but if you can crack this shit, you'd probably better off breaking into people's savings account than fucking online games for virtual money.
gehhhh, I have no idea why this error bothers me so much.
I probably won't end up buying one, as I am too cheap and apathetic about in-game items, and don't NEED to added layer of protection. Shockingly, I've managed to use the same pair of passwords, alternated whenever I feel like it, since I created my account and not have it ever remotely in danger of being compromised by not being an idiot online.
My stepfather has one of these for his work though, they're pretty interesting. However I'll stick with having a password I can rely on knowing at any given time while managing to keep that just as secure barring someone breaking into my house and stealing my computer. Nice idea, just isn't for everyone.
Think this will cause an increase in botters and script kiddies haxing around in FFXI? No longer is there the danger that the program they download will have an account stealing trojan/virus (given they get this token).
It does look like the DigiPass Go6 going by the pictures as you mentioned.
I used to have one for work. It was required to carry one to log onto the company's networked servers. Of course, when my contract ended, so did my account and according to my company's policy, these were disposed of and the keys and my account no longer valid.
These are only ONE PER USER, and just like the registration codes we use for FFXI-- NON-TRANSFERRABLE. If you are one of the players (or idiots) that share your account with two or more people, they will need your security key. Of course, most likely you will have to call in your friend or significant other for it. But, if you are in those HNM LSes that ask you to have a "second account (optional)" and share that with another LS mate, and he has to log onto your account during some big-name event and you are not there to give the key, then you are SOL ("shit outta luck").
(Also, for godsakes, even if your HNM LS asks you to have a second account for dual boxing, just don't be an idiot and share an account with an LS mate regardless how trusting he or she sounds. Don't even give out your account to another LS mate/LS leader when they ask for it so they can use your mule/other account for events. Most lost accounts are mostly due to a disgruntled LS mate or significant other you met in the LS or the game; and other times by a friend met in the game or the LS itself. Only trust yourself and your own judgment, and not someone that's probably tens, hundreds or thousands of miles away from you.)
According to DigiPass' website, the key supports DES, AES, or 3DES encryption algorithm. It isn't as strong as RSA, but it'll suffice. Hopefully SE will go towards AES at best or 3DES at least, if this is indeed the model used. And, it's nice that the battery lasts 7 years.
these thing is cheap
usually 5-10 dollar
but have you thought why SE included an ingame item?
yes, they want to make more than 10s. Im betting this + the ingame item bundle to cost more than 20
I'm going to laugh if the in-game item is a keypad that requires you to enter a passcode (for laughs) just to get into your Mog House. XD
