WHM Question about Bar- spell fluctuation.

Ok, I don't know if this was addressed before but I've noticed in different in my bar - spell potency level. Recently I got my hands on an Augment. Earring to go along with my Enhancing Torque for my WHM. This is my bar- spell set up:


Body: Blessed Briault
Neck: Enhancing Torque
Ear: Augmenting Earring
Back: Merciful Cape
Legs: Cleric's Pantaloons
Feet: Cleric's Duckbills

In town, I get an elemental resistance of 121 for fire, earth, water, etc.
While fighting Kirin and later while doing ZNMs I got an elemental resistance of 126. O.o

I don't know what accounts for the difference in elemental levels. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Other gear giving resistance+? Nothing effects barspells besides enhancing skill, relic pants, merits, or briault(which is just mdb, not resistance).

WHM/SMN has a max Enhancing skill of 230 without gear.
WHM/SCH has a max skill of 256 without gear.

You have +25 skill from gear that you named.

40 + Skill/5 + 20 (Cleric's Pantaloons) + 10 (5/5 merits, I assume) = 121 as /SMN or /SCH without Light arts up.

With Light Arts you get another 26 skill, which is another 5 potency and pushes you up to 126.
