Why not? We didn't have pix messages in when I went to high school so flashing or downright debauchery was the next best thing. Girls got made fun of and guys got serviced. They were called whores and sluts too. Instead of committing suicide they just did the same for their friends and it turned out all right. Once again, not saying that it isn't fucked up or I don't have compassion for people less fortunate but people need to stop making excuses for the girl. People should really feel sorry for the parents. They seem pretty destroyed about going to their only child's funeral. Pretty selfish in my opinion.

From reading up on my own provider (Verizon), I can call 611 from my cell phone and have them disable the ability to text from my phone.

If this can be done with all major carriers, then it doesn't matter how many naked pictures a teenager takes of herself. She can't send them anywhere.
